Is the 2025 Chrysler Pacifica a good car?

The 2025 Chrysler Pacifica stands out because it combines minivan practicality with a fairly upscale feature set and two very different powertrain choices. It offers seven-passenger seating, Stow ’n Go second-row seats in the standard model, and a third row that folds with a 60/40 split, so it suits you well if you want family flexibility and easy cargo use.

Available features include a 10.1-inch touchscreen with Uconnect 5, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and FamCam. If you want more luxury, the Pinnacle trim adds quilted-leather upholstery and matching lumbar pillows for the second-row captain’s chairs.

The Pacifica remains appealing because it blends family-friendly versatility, strong available technology, and a choice between conventional power and plug-in efficiency. 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Chrysler Pacifica reliable?

The 2025 Chrysler Pacifica stands out because it combines minivan practicality with a fairly upscale feature set and two very different powertrain choices. For you, that means a vehicle built around versatility and convenience rather than a stripped-down family hauler.

It is also distinctive for the way Chrysler has equipped it, with useful technology and seating flexibility that should make day-to-day ownership straightforward. The trade-offs are worth keeping in mind, especially if you plan to use it heavily over the long term.

For used buyers, the main ownership risk is that a feature-rich minivan can become more expensive to keep in top shape as mileage and age build up.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Chrysler Pacifica?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you know what you want.

• Deal availability: 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 468 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 26.24% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $41,906 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Chrysler Pacifica's resale value?

The current average of $41,906 CAD sits slightly below last year's $56,815 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favour, which can make the Pacifica easier to purchase now than it was a year ago. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale values to reflect the current softer market rather than the higher pricing seen last year. If you buy well today, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pain later, but the recent trend still points to a more competitive resale environment.

Should I buy a 2025 Chrysler Pacifica or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 26.24% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $37,560 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $41,906 CAD average.
• It offers a familiar, well-rounded family vehicle with only small changes.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market selection and are comfortable shopping carefully, the 2025 is the better primary target. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2024 is the smarter secondary path because it delivers a similar family-first formula at a lower average price.
