Used 2025 Chevrolet Traverse for Sale nearBarrie, ON

How much does the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse cost?

Prices have softened 8.89% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 179 listings available, which suggests you should have some room to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse a good car?

Yes — with a 5/5 user rating and a 7.17/10 expert rating, the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse looks like a strong fit if you want a larger midsize three-row SUV with a modern cabin and lots of utility. The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.

Its redesigned shape gives it a stylish look, and the cabin is backed by impressive technology and plenty of cargo space, which suits you if you want a family hauler with a more modern feel. The trade-offs are the unpleasant engine note and the cheap-feeling interior plastics, plus the fussy wiper controls and aggravating third-row folding process.

Good and great deals make up 32.4% of listings, so there are still some attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Traverse is presented as a well-equipped, family-focused SUV with strong technology and broad utility, and its standard safety and driver-assistance coverage adds to day-to-day confidence. The expert assessment also points to good fuel economy for the segment and a package that feels more appealing after living with it for a week.

Chevrolet also includes three years of access to Super Cruise when you choose the Enhanced Driving Package, which adds some ownership value. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the same quality and usability complaints you notice on a test drive may continue to matter over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Chevrolet Traverse?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The LT, Z71, and RS each bring a different flavour, but the base experience can still feel let down by hard, glossy interior plastics and Evotex artificial leather that does not feel especially convincing. The Z71 is the off-road version, while the RS sits at the top of the range.
• Powertrain: You get a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque. It pulls strongly, but the engine note is unpleasant, and front-wheel-drive operation can bring wheel spin and torque steer.
• Safety package: Chevy Safety Assist covers adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, active blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, intersection braking, rear automatic braking, automatic high-beam headlights, pedestrian and cyclist detection, and a Safety Alert Seat. The Enhanced Driving Package adds Super Cruise and remote-parking technology.
• Infotainment: You get a standard 17.7-inch touchscreen with Google Built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, OnStar connected services, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. An 11-inch digital instrumentation panel is also standard.
• Fuel efficiency: The test vehicle was rated at 11.2 L/100 km in combined driving and averaged 10.9 L/100 km in testing.

Which 2025 Chevrolet Traverse trim should I buy?

The 2025 Chevrolet Traverse is offered in 3 trim levels: LT, Z71, and RS.

Here's the short version:

• LT: This is the trim to focus on if you want the core Traverse experience without paying for the more specialised versions. It gives you the roomy three-row layout, the standard technology, and the broad safety package that make this SUV appealing in the first place.
• Z71: This is the best fit if you want the extra capability and rugged character. It adds off-road suspension, all-terrain tires, a skid plate, red tow hooks, a more capable Twin Clutch AWD system, Terrain mode, hill descent control, and improved ground clearance.
• RS: Choose this if you want the top-end trim and the most upscale presentation in the range.

The standard safety package is generous across the lineup, and the Enhanced Driving Package adds Super Cruise and remote-parking technology.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Chevrolet Traverse?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some confidence if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 179 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.89% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $52,622 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse's resale value?

The current average of $52,759 CAD sits slightly below last year's $57,905 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has cooled, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to sell soon. For a future seller, the current trend means you should expect more price sensitivity from shoppers than you would have seen a year ago. Strong equipment and broad appeal can still support demand, but condition and trim choice will matter more in a softer market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse safe?

The 2025 Traverse earns a five-star overall safety rating from NHTSA and a Top Safety Pick award from IIHS.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Chevrolet equips every 2025 Traverse with a generous list of driver aids. Standard features include adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, active blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, intersection braking, rear automatic braking, automatic high-beam headlights, pedestrian and cyclist detection, and a Safety Alert Seat.

The Enhanced Driving Package adds hands-free Super Cruise and remote-parking technology, along with the digital rearview mirror and a 10-speaker Bose premium sound system. Super Cruise is a standout, but it can still briefly disengage in some situations, and Cruise Braking can slow the vehicle too much in curves.

Should I buy a 2025 Chevrolet Traverse or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.89% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds standard trailering capability and broadens appeal with available Sun and Wheel Package.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $48,314 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $52,759 CAD average.
• It feels more modern and capable, with more standard driver aids and a larger touchscreen.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It offers a spacious interior, a pleasant ride, and lots of safety equipment.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version with the strongest mix of technology, safety, and standard equipment, the 2025 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is saving money, the 2024 is the smarter value play, while the 2026 makes sense if you want to compare against a broader three-row crossover alternative.
