Should I buy a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.48% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $68,519 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $73,743 CAD average.
• The 2024 adds a more competitive refresh with better styling and broader appeal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2025 if you want the stronger current-market mix of inventory, deal availability, and buyer satisfaction. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2024 is the better value path and still gives you a compelling heavy-duty truck with broad capability.
