Used 2025 Chevrolet Malibu for Sale nearKingston, ON

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Malibu a good car?

The 2025 Chevrolet Malibu is a good fit if you want a roomy, easy-to-live-with sedan with useful technology and strong value. Chevrolet’s last production sedan also has the distinction of being the final chapter for a long-running nameplate, and this generation is described as more sophisticated, more comfortable, and more reliable than earlier Malibus. You also get a larger, more open-feeling back seat, a broad spread of trims, and available powertrains that let you choose between efficiency and stronger performance.

For everyday use, the Malibu’s appeal comes from practicality and tech. The cabin includes Chevrolet’s MyLink system on a seven-inch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with an eight-inch screen available on upper trims and standard on Premier trim, and later updates added wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The trade-offs are worth noting: the standard 1.5-litre turbo can feel lacklustre, and the Malibu is not as refined as rivals such as the Toyota Camry or Honda Accord.

With 29.0% of listings priced as good or great deals, the market still gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Malibu reliable?

The 2025 Chevrolet Malibu is described as more reliable than the Malibus that came before it, and this generation is also presented as the most refined front-drive Malibu family. That makes it a stronger used-car proposition than earlier versions, especially if you want a sedan that balances comfort, value, and everyday usability.

The reliability story is still best understood in context: this is a practical family car rather than a luxury sedan, and its strengths are tied to straightforward ownership and broad appeal. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that you should expect a sensible commuter, not a car that eliminates every ownership compromise.

The bottom line: The 2025 Chevrolet Malibu makes the most sense if you want the final version of Chevrolet’s sedan with the generation’s stronger comfort, technology, and value story. If you are price-sensitive, a nearby model year can still be worth a look, but the 2025 is the cleaner choice if you want the last Malibu and you find one that is priced well.
