Used 2025 Chevrolet Malibu for Sale nearDrumheller, AB

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Malibu a good car?

The 2025 Chevrolet Malibu is a practical, spacious, and relatively affordable midsize sedan with a distinctive place as Chevrolet’s final sedan chapter. Its roomy cabin, easy-to-use infotainment, and decent array of safety and driver-assistance features make it a sensible choice if you want straightforward everyday usability.

It also benefits from the Malibu’s later-generation improvements, including a larger and more open-feeling back seat, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and standard automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection and forward collision warnings. The trade-offs are that the standard 1.5-litre turbocharged engine is described as lacklustre, and the car is not as refined as some rivals.

With 29.0% of listings priced as good or great deals, the market still gives you some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Malibu reliable?

The 2025 Chevrolet Malibu is described as having the best reliability record of all front-wheel drive Malibus, which is a strong point for used buyers looking at this generation. It also benefits from the Malibu’s later, more mature design, which helped make it more sophisticated and more reliable than earlier versions.

That said, the model line has had its share of issues over the years, including weak transmissions before the CVT arrived, so long-term ownership risk is lower than on earlier Malibus but still worth checking carefully on a used example.

The bottom line: The 2025 Malibu makes the most sense if you want the final version of Chevrolet’s sedan with the strongest late-generation appeal, solid practicality, and a value-focused used price. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth considering, but the 2025 is the cleaner choice if you want the newest example of this generation.
