Used 2025 BMW 2 Series for Sale near Niagara Falls, ON

How much does the 2025 BMW 2 Series cost?

Prices have softened 16.50% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 91 listings available, which suggests you have some room to compare options, but not an overwhelming amount of inventory.

Is the 2025 BMW 2 Series a good car?

The 2025 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe earns a 6.3/10 from our experts.

The model scores 7/10 across Performance, Form and function, and Cost effectiveness.

It is positioned as an affordable entry point into BMW ownership, and the overview makes clear that you get a sporty character without giving up the brand entirely. The trade-offs are also straightforward: the styling is uninspired, the technology can be unintuitive, and the ride is firm.

Good for you if: you want a compact luxury car that is engaging to drive, practical enough for everyday use, and priced as a relatively accessible BMW.

Trade-offs to weigh: the cabin tech takes more effort than it should to use, and the firm ride may not suit you if comfort is your top priority.

Only 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is somewhat selective rather than deeply discounted.

Is the 2025 BMW 2 Series reliable?

The 2025 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe is presented as a relatively straightforward entry-level luxury model, with standard safety and driver-assistance equipment and no reported false alarms or technical glitches in the test vehicle. The expert summary also frames it as a bargain among compact luxury cars, which supports the idea that it is aimed at buyers who want a simpler path into the brand.

Its performance hardware is conventional for the segment, with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, a dual-clutch automatic transmission, and standard all-wheel drive. The expert notes that the available safety systems performed as they should, and the infotainment and remote features are modern enough to support daily use.

If you plan to keep one long term, the main ownership risk is that a used example may be more sensitive to maintenance costs and technology complexity than a simpler mainstream car.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 BMW 2 Series?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin uses a large glossy panel for the digital instrument cluster and infotainment touchscreen, and the interior quality is described as comparable to some base-model BMWs with sturdy, soft-touch materials and attractive metallic accents. The Canadian-market car is the 228 xDrive Gran Coupe, and some features shown on the test vehicle are not offered here.
• Powertrain: The Canadian model is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 241 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. BMW claims a 100 km/h time of six seconds.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, front and rear parking proximity sensors, and a semi-automated parking system. The optional Driving Assistant Professional package adds adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, lane-change assist, evasive steering assist, and traffic jam assist.
• Infotainment: You get a 10.7-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless charging pad, and a Harman Kardon premium sound system. Over-the-air software updates are included, and the BMW Digital Key feature lets your phone act as the key fob.
• Fuel efficiency: Official Canadian fuel consumption ratings are not available.

Which 2025 BMW 2 Series trim should I buy?

The 2025 BMW 2 Series is offered in 1 trim level: 228 xDrive Gran Coupe.

Here's the short version:

The 228 xDrive Gran Coupe is the one to focus on because it is the only Canadian-market version described here. It gives you the standard all-wheel-drive setup, the 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, and the full set of core tech features, so you are not choosing between multiple trims so much as deciding whether this model fits your needs. It is best for you if you want the most accessible way into the 2 Series Gran Coupe lineup and value everyday usability over chasing a more performance-focused BMW.

The standard safety package already includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, front and rear parking proximity sensors, and a semi-automated parking system.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 BMW 2 Series?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop carefully without expecting huge discounts everywhere.

• Deal availability: 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 91 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.50% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $41,435 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 BMW 2 Series's resale value?

The current average of $45,122 CAD sits slightly below last year's $54,036 CAD.

That price movement suggests the model has become more approachable for used buyers, but it also means a future seller may face more competition if the market stays soft. If you buy now, you are entering at a lower average price than last year, which can help cushion depreciation. For resale, the key will be keeping mileage, condition, and equipment strong enough to stand out in a relatively limited pool of listings.

Is the 2025 BMW 2 Series safe?

The 2025 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe comes with standard advanced safety and driver assistance features such as forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, front and rear parking proximity sensors, and a semi-automated parking system.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

The optional Driving Assistant Professional package adds adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, lane-change assist, evasive steering assist, and traffic jam assist. In testing, the available safety features performed as they should, with no false alarms or technical glitches. One caveat is that the adaptive cruise control’s automatic following-distance setting leaves too much space, so you may prefer to adjust it manually.

Should I buy a 2025 BMW 2 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.50% compared with last year.
• The redesigned model’s added power and technology matter to you, and you want the least expensive BMW with a sporty feel.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version with updated equipment and a lower average price than last year, the 2025 is the better starting point. If you are more price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best condition and equipment for the money.
