How much does the 2025 Audi Q7 cost?

Prices have softened 9.64% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 94 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Audi Q7 a good car?

The 2025 Audi Q7 earns an expert rating of 7.33/10.

The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Technology.

You get a mid-size SUV with room for seven, standard all-wheel drive, and a polished overall package that still feels appealing if you value driving dynamics and a premium presentation. The trade-offs are that the third row is cramped for anyone but the smallest passengers, and the price can climb quickly as you move up the trim line. It also falls behind the competition on safety tech. With 26.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Audi Q7 reliable?

The 2025 Audi Q7 is presented as a long-running second-generation model, and that age shows in some key areas. Its overall package is still strong for driving dynamics and engine performance, but the expert assessment also points to outdated advanced driver-assistance features as a weakness.

The powertrain is described as smooth and easy, with the larger engine delivering confident performance and the SUV handling like a dream. The expert commentary also notes that the Q7’s ADAS features, while configurable, fall below the competition. If you’re buying used, that means you should pay close attention to how the vehicle’s technology and driver-assistance systems feel in daily use, because those are the areas most likely to shape long-term satisfaction.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi Q7?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base trim gets the core Q7 experience, while the higher trims add more equipment and can push the price up quickly. The styling update includes standard Matrix-design LED headlamps, and the Black Optic package adds black accents, Anthracite Gray Audi rings in front, and blacked-out chrome exhaust tips.
• Powertrain: You can choose between a 2.0-litre turbocharged inline four-cylinder with 261 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque, or a 3.0-litre turbo V6 with 335 horsepower and 365 pound-feet of torque. The larger engine is the stronger performer, while the smaller engine is the more efficient choice.
• Safety package: The Q7 includes blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, cruise control, adaptive cruise control on upper trims, and self-parking capability for parallel and perpendicular spaces. The lane-centring system is not as polished as some rivals, and the NHTSA does not give its approval to the forward emergency braking or dynamic brake support systems.
• Infotainment: Audi’s MMI system uses a 10.1-inch centre screen with a smaller lower screen for HVAC controls, plus a configurable digital gauge cluster. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included, and the Audi App Store adds third-party apps such as Spotify, YouTube, and Amazon Music.
• Fuel efficiency: The larger engine is rated at 13.0 L/100 km in the city, 10.0 on the highway, and 11.7 combined. The smaller engine is rated at 12.0 L/100 km city, 9.2 highway, and 10.7 combined.

Which 2025 Audi Q7 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Audi Q7 is offered in 3 trim levels: base, Progressiv, and Technik.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the trim to target if you want the cleanest entry point into the Q7 lineup. It gives you the core design update, standard all-wheel drive, and the choice of the smaller engine, while keeping the purchase price more manageable than the upper trims.
• Progressiv: This is the best-value trim if you want the stronger 3.0-litre turbo V6 without jumping all the way to the top of the range. It adds the more potent engine as standard and keeps the Q7’s strongest traits intact.
• Technik: This is the most fully equipped version, but it is also the one where the price can climb fastest. Choose it if you want the top-spec experience and are comfortable paying for it.

The safety package includes the usual ADAS features, but the system is not as advanced or as smooth as what some rivals offer.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Audi Q7?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 26.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 94 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.64% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $68,592 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $71,373 CAD sits slightly below last year's $78,989 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Q7 has softened enough to create a better entry point for used buyers. If you’re a future seller, it also means you may need to be realistic about pricing if you want to move the vehicle quickly. The strongest resale prospects will likely come from well-kept examples with the more desirable engine and the right equipment mix.

Is the 2025 Audi Q7 safe?

The 2025 Audi Q7 earns five-star ratings overall and for side crash from NHTSA, and four-star ratings for front crash and rollover.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

The Q7 includes blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, cruise control, adaptive cruise control on upper trims, and self-parking for parallel and perpendicular spaces. You also get configurable ADAS settings, including adaptive cruise behaviour that can be tuned for a sportier feel. The downside is that the lane-centring system is haphazard, and the overall driver-assistance suite trails the competition.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 26.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.64% compared with last year.
• The refreshed styling, wireless smartphone integration, and updated infotainment matter to you more than having the most advanced safety tech.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of this generation with the strongest mix of style, standard all-wheel drive, and modern convenience, the 2025 is the one to focus on. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby model year may be the smarter path, especially if you can live without the refresh and are mainly shopping for value.
