How much does the 2025 Audi Q7 cost?

Prices have softened 9.01% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 113 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Audi Q7 a good car?

The 2025 Audi Q7 earns an expert rating of 7.3/10.

The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Technology.

It stands out as a mid-size SUV with room for seven, and it brings a welcome mid-cycle refresh with polished styling, standard all-wheel drive, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The trade-offs are clear: the third row is only barely usable, and the advanced driver-assistance features are described as outdated.

The Q7’s 31.9% good and great deal share suggests there are still some attractive listings in the market.

Is the 2025 Audi Q7 reliable?

The 2025 Audi Q7 is presented as a well-built luxury SUV with strong driving dynamics and a premium feel, but it also shows its age in some key areas.

Its powertrain is described as smooth and easy, and the SUV handles like a dream with minimal body roll. The expert review also notes that the Q7’s all-wheel-drive system and brakes are reassuring, which supports confidence in day-to-day use.

On the cost side, the base trim is the recommended starting point, and the larger engine adds to the bottom line. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the Q7’s ageing technology and outdated driver-assistance systems may feel behind the curve sooner than you’d like.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi Q7?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base trim gives you the core Q7 experience, while Progressiv and Technik add more equipment. The base version is the one to watch if you want to avoid paying extra for features that do not fully solve the Q7’s ageing safety-tech shortcomings.
• Powertrain: You can choose between a 2.0-litre turbocharged inline four-cylinder with 261 horsepower and a 3.0-litre turbo V6 with 335 horsepower. The larger engine is the stronger motivator, while the smaller one is the more economical choice in the lineup.
• Safety package: The Q7 includes blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, cruise control, adaptive cruise control on upper trims, and self-parking for parallel and perpendicular spaces. The advanced driver-assistance features are still described as outdated, and adaptive cruise control is not standard on every trim.
• Infotainment: You get a 10.1-inch centre screen, a smaller lower screen for HVAC controls, a configurable digital gauge cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the Audi App Store. The system is user-friendly, though the screen can feel sluggish and requires a firm press.
• Fuel efficiency: The 2.0-litre engine is rated at 12.0 L/100 km in the city, 9.2 on the highway, and 10.7 combined. The 3.0-litre V6 is rated at 13.0 L/100 km in the city, 10.0 on the highway, and 11.7 combined.

Which 2025 Audi Q7 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Audi Q7 is offered in 3 trim levels: base, Progressiv, and Technik.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the best-value starting point if you want the Q7’s styling, standard all-wheel drive, and core luxury features without pushing the price too high. It makes the most sense if you plan to add the more potent engine and keep the rest of the build sensible.
• Progressiv: This is the middle-ground choice if you want a better-equipped Q7 without jumping all the way to the top trim. It should suit you if you want a more balanced mix of features and price.
• Technik: This is the most feature-rich version, but it is also the one most likely to push the Q7 into expensive territory. It suits you if you want the fullest equipment list and are comfortable paying for it.

The safety package includes adaptive cruise control on upper trims, so you should check equipment carefully if that feature matters to you.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Audi Q7?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 113 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.01% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $68,576 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $70,074 CAD sits slightly below last year's $77,015 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Q7 has softened enough to create better buying conditions today than it had a year ago. For a future seller, that also means you should expect resale values to depend heavily on trim, equipment, and how well the vehicle is presented. If you buy carefully now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pain later, but the market is still signalling that higher-priced examples can be harder to justify.

Is the 2025 Audi Q7 safe?

The 2025 Audi Q7 earns five-star ratings overall and for side crash from NHTSA, and four-star ratings for front crash and rollover.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

The Q7 includes blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, cruise control, adaptive cruise control on upper trims, and self-parking for parallel and perpendicular spaces. The system can be customised, including adaptive cruise settings and quick access to ADAS menus, but the lane-centring is described as haphazard and the overall driver-assistance tech is behind the competition.

The IIHS has not yet rated this model year, and the review also notes that the Q7’s advanced safety technology is a weak point relative to rivals.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.01% compared with last year.
• The refreshed styling, standard wireless smartphone integration, and polished road manners matter more to you than having the newest driver-assistance tech.

The bottom line: If you want the refreshed look and a strong used-market price, the 2025 is the one to target. If you are more price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby model years and focus on the best-equipped example you can find rather than paying extra for the newest badge.
