How much does the 2025 Audi A3 cost?

Prices have softened 19.64% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 110 listings available, which suggests a decent amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2025 Audi A3 a good car?

The 2025 Audi A3 earns an 7.83/10 expert rating, and it’s aimed at you if you want a compact premium sedan that’s genuinely enjoyable to drive without giving up a polished cabin or modern tech.

The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

It stands out for its superior performance, nimbler handling, and better fuel economy, while the cabin brings quality materials and a refined feel that suits shoppers who want something small and upscale. The main trade-offs are a cramped back seat and limited cargo space, plus the lane-departure warning system can be distracting.

The market shows 33.6% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Audi A3 reliable?

The 2025 Audi A3 is presented as a polished, well-equipped small luxury sedan with a four-year/80,000-kilometre warranty, which is typical for the segment.

Its powertrain is described as refined and satisfying in real-world driving, and the standard quattro AWD system adds traction in poor weather. The expert evaluation also notes that the car feels solid and structurally sound around town.

Audi’s maintenance coverage is not highlighted with any extra first-visit perk here, so your ownership costs will depend more on how you use the car and how carefully it’s maintained.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a premium compact car can be less forgiving if previous owners skipped maintenance or ignored early warning signs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi A3?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base trim gives you the core Audi look and feel, but Progressiv and Technik add more equipment and a more upscale experience. If you want the best balance of features and value, the mid-level trim is the one to focus on.
• Powertrain: Every A3 uses a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with 201 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic and standard quattro AWD. It’s tuned for smooth, satisfying everyday performance rather than outright speed.
• Safety package: Every A3 includes Pre Sense Front with forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking, plus lane-departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, a vehicle exit warning system, and Audi Side Assist blind-spot monitoring. Progressiv adds Adaptive Cruise Assist with adaptive cruise control, and the Advanced Driver Assistance Package on Progressiv and Technik adds adaptive cruise control with or without Lane Guidance and Predictive Control.
• Infotainment: You get a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel and a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, Audi Connect services, and a six-speaker sound system. Technik adds a larger 12.3-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus display and navigation.
• Fuel efficiency: The A3 is rated at 8.5 L/100 km combined, and testing returned 9.9 L/100 km on the evaluation loop.

Which 2025 Audi A3 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Audi A3 is offered in 3 trim levels: base, Progressiv, and Technik.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the core A3 experience: standard quattro AWD, the turbocharged 2.0-litre engine, wireless smartphone integration, and the full basic safety suite. It makes sense if you want the A3’s driving character without stretching for extras.
• Progressiv: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds Adaptive Cruise Assist and unlocks more available tech and audio upgrades. If you want the sweet spot between price and equipment, start here.
• Technik: This is the most fully featured version, with the larger 12.3-inch digital display, navigation, and standard Sonos premium audio. Choose it if you want the most upscale A3 experience.

The safety package is standard across the lineup, while Adaptive Cruise Assist is added on Progressiv and above.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Audi A3?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully and still find opportunities.

• Deal availability: 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 110 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.64% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $38,088 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Audi A3's resale value?

The current average of $38,088 CAD sits slightly below last year's $47,396 CAD.

That drop suggests the A3 has become more affordable for used buyers, but it also means a future seller may face a softer market than owners saw a year ago. If you buy now, you’re entering at a lower price point than recent sellers enjoyed. If you plan to resell later, strong maintenance records and desirable trim equipment should matter more in protecting value.

Is the 2025 Audi A3 safe?

The 2025 Audi A3 earns its top rating in a small overlap front crash test from IIHS.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Audi equips every A3 with Pre Sense Front, which combines forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking, along with lane-departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, a vehicle exit warning system, and Audi Side Assist blind-spot monitoring. Progressiv adds Adaptive Cruise Assist with adaptive cruise control, and the available Advanced Driver Assistance Package adds adaptive cruise control with or without Lane Guidance plus Predictive Control for upcoming curves.

The lane-departure warning system can issue false alerts, so that’s the main safety-related caveat to keep in mind when you test-drive one.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi A3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.64% compared with last year.
• The refreshed 2025 A3’s combination of superior performance, nimbler handling, better fuel economy, and modern tech is exactly what you want.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of driving enjoyment, premium feel, and current-market value, the 2025 is the one to target. If you’re more price-sensitive, you can still shop carefully and look for the best-equipped example within your budget, especially if you’re willing to compare trims and act quickly on a well-priced listing.
