Should I buy a 2024 Toyota Corolla Hatchback or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 26.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.74% compared with last year.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $25,052 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $26,108 CAD average.
• It offers extra practicality and a more distinctive hatchback design.

The bottom line:
You should lean toward the 2024 if you want the current-year market and a decent pool of deal-priced listings. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the better value path, especially if you find one with the practicality and styling you want.
