Used 2024 Subaru Impreza for Sale nearMontreal, QC

How much does the 2024 Subaru Impreza cost?

Prices have softened 7.94% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 103 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of choice in the used market.

Is the 2024 Subaru Impreza a good car?

Yes — you’re looking at a 5/5 user-rated model with an expert score of 6.8/10. The 2024 Subaru Impreza is positioned as an affordable all-wheel-drive compact car that aims to deliver practical everyday value with a bit more appeal than a basic economy hatchback. The standard all-wheel drive is a major advantage if you want extra confidence in poor weather or on slippery roads, and the revived RS trim adds some much-needed driver excitement.

The trade-offs are that it’s more of a refresh than a full redesign, so the changes may feel less dramatic than you’d expect. Even so, the comfortable ride and smart features help it fit well if you want capability and usefulness without paying a premium. The model has 26.2% good and great deals, which suggests there are still some attractive listings to find.

Is the 2024 Subaru Impreza reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Impreza is described as building on already strong credentials, and Subaru’s reworked sixth-generation platform is presented as a more rigid version of its predecessor’s chassis. Its safety and driver-assist systems are also described as operating smoothly, with no false alarms or intrusive actions during testing. The performance side is framed as dependable rather than dramatic, with the CVT and all-wheel-drive setup aimed at consistent everyday use.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright complexity and more about choosing the right trim and condition so you get the equipment and powertrain you expect.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Subaru Impreza?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Convenience trim uses two 7-inch displays, while the Touring, RS, and Sport-tech trims get the larger 11.6-inch infotainment touchscreen. The RS also adds side skirts and red interior accents, and the top three trims add more premium safety and connectivity features.
• Powertrain: The Convenience and Touring trims use a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with 152 horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque, while the RS and Sport-tech upgrade to a 2.5-litre engine with 182 hp and 178 lb-ft of torque. All trims use a CVT, and all-wheel drive with active torque vectoring is standard.
• Safety package: Every Impreza comes with EyeSight, which includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and lane-centring. The Touring adds Starlink communications features, and the top three trims add blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and automatic emergency steering.
• Infotainment: The 11.6-inch touchscreen is standard on the Touring, RS, and Sport-tech trims. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard on all trims, while wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included on all but the Convenience trim. Subaru Starlink comes with the top three trims.
• Fuel efficiency: The base 2.0-litre engine is estimated at 8.8 L/100 km in city driving and 6.9 L/100 km on the highway. The RS and Sport-tech trims are rated at 9.0 L/100 km city and 7.2 L/100 km highway.

Which 2024 Subaru Impreza trim should I buy?

The 2024 Subaru Impreza is offered in 4 trim levels: Convenience, Touring, RS, and Sport-tech.

Here's the short version:

• Convenience: This is the entry point if you mainly want standard all-wheel drive, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the core Impreza formula at the lowest price. It’s the value play if you can live without the larger screen and the extra convenience features.
• Touring: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds the larger 11.6-inch touchscreen, wireless phone integration, and more convenience and tech features without jumping all the way to the sportier models.
• RS: This is the trim to choose if you want the most engaging version of the Impreza. It brings the more powerful 2.5-litre engine, paddle shifters, the 10-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, and the sportiest character in the lineup.
• Sport-tech: This is the top trim if you want the most equipment and are willing to pay for it, but the RS already captures the most compelling performance upgrade.

The top three trims also add blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and automatic emergency steering.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Subaru Impreza?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy if you’re shopping carefully.

• Deal availability: 26.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 103 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.94% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $26,940 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Subaru Impreza's resale value?

The current average of $27,166 CAD sits slightly below last year's $29,509 CAD.

That softer pricing trend suggests the market has become a bit more favourable for buyers, which can make it harder for a future seller to command top dollar right away. At the same time, the Impreza’s standard all-wheel drive and practical positioning should help it stay relevant with shoppers who value traction and everyday usefulness. If you buy well now, you may be starting from a more realistic price base than someone who bought when values were higher.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Subaru Impreza safe?

The 2024 Impreza has not yet received crash-test results from NHTSA or IIHS, though Subaru is targeting a Top Safety Pick award from the IIHS.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Every 2024 Impreza comes with EyeSight, which includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and lane-centring. The Touring trim adds Starlink communications features with automatic collision notification, enhanced roadside assistance, and an SOS button. The top three trims add blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and automatic emergency steering.

Should I buy a 2024 Subaru Impreza or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 26.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.94% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The revived RS trim adds some much-needed driver excitement, and the sixth-generation redesign brings a more rigid chassis, more technology, and standard all-wheel drive.

The bottom line: If you want the newest Impreza with the strongest mix of standard AWD, modern tech, and a more engaging RS option, the 2024 is the one to target. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still make sense, but you’ll want to compare equipment carefully because the 2024’s updates are meaningful even if they’re not a full redesign.
