Used 2024 Subaru Crosstrek for Sale nearNorth Vancouver, BC

How much does the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek cost?

Prices have softened 9.08% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 687 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek earns a 4.83/5 user rating and an 8/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Technology and Safety.

Drivers consistently praise its build quality, comfort, handling, fuel efficiency, safety features, and value for money. It also fits well if you want a compact crossover with standard all-wheel drive and a practical, outdoorsy character.

The main trade-offs are the underwhelming base engine and interior materials that feel cheap. Even so, it remains a strong fit if you want everyday practicality, confidence in poor weather, and a useful feature set in a compact package.

Only 29.0% of listings are marked as good or great deals, so the market is somewhat selective rather than flooded with bargains.

Is the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek reliable?

Owners rate it 4.83/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers describe it as well built, comfortable, and dependable, with strong value for money and a reputation that supports confidence over time. The user feedback also points to a car that feels easy to live with day to day and capable of handling regular use without drama.

From an ownership standpoint, the Crosstrek’s straightforward mechanical setup and strong owner approval are encouraging signs for used buyers. The main long-term risk is that lower-powered versions may feel strained if you regularly want brisk acceleration.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Subaru Crosstrek?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base trim gets 17-inch alloy wheels, all-season tyres, 22 centimetres of ground clearance, and standard roof rails, but those rails do not double as crossbars. Wilderness models add unique exterior and interior design elements, bigger cladding, new bumpers, copper accents, StarTex synthetic leather, all-weather floormats, and an interior LED light in the cargo area.
• Powertrain: The 2.0-litre four-cylinder makes 152 horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque, while the 2.5-litre four-cylinder makes 182 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque. All versions use a CVT, and Subaru’s X-Mode traction management system is standard across the lineup.
• Safety package: EyeSight is standard and includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control. New for 2024, it uses a wider-angle lens, and automatic emergency steering is included on cars equipped with blind-spot monitoring.
• Infotainment: The 11.6-inch touchscreen is standard on all but the Convenience trim. It includes wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto, while a wireless charger is standard on the Onyx and Limited trims.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada estimates 8.8 L/100 km in the city and 7.1 L/100 km on the highway for the 2.0-litre model. The 2.5-litre version is rated at 8.9 L/100 km city and 7.2 L/100 km highway.

Which 2024 Subaru Crosstrek trim should I buy?

The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek is offered in 4 trim levels: Convenience, Touring, Onyx, and Limited.

Here's the short version:

• Convenience: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the Crosstrek’s core appeal: standard all-wheel drive, strong ground clearance, roof rails, and EyeSight safety tech. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the model and can live without the larger touchscreen.
• Touring: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds more equipment while staying below the upper trims. You also get the 11.6-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the more appealing 2.0-litre engine setup remains available.
• Onyx: This trim is the better pick if you want the stronger 2.5-litre engine, plus the more advanced dual-function X-Mode setup with mud and deep snow modes and hill-descent control. It also adds a wireless charger.
• Limited: Choose this if you want the most comfort and convenience features in the standard lineup, including the 10-speaker Harman Kardon audio system and the 2.5-litre engine.

EyeSight is standard across the lineup, and automatic emergency steering is included on cars equipped with blind-spot monitoring.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Subaru Crosstrek?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 29.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 687 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.08% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $30,168 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek's resale value?

The current average of $30,168 CAD sits slightly below last year's $33,182 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you as a buyer today but may also mean future sellers need to price more competitively. If you buy at the current average or below, you may have less room for appreciation if the market softens further.

On the other hand, the Crosstrek’s broad appeal, standard all-wheel drive, and strong reputation should help support demand when it is time to sell. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.83/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek safe?

The Subaru Crosstrek has been awarded a Top Safety Pick designation by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) since 2013.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

EyeSight is standard and includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control. For 2024, it also uses a wider-angle lens, and automatic emergency steering is included on cars equipped with blind-spot monitoring.

The main caveat is that the 2024 model has not yet been reviewed by the IIHS or crash-tested by NHTSA, so the strongest safety evidence still comes from the model’s long-running track record and standard driver-assistance equipment.

Should I buy a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 29.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.08% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.83/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It brings a refreshed third-generation design, a new Wilderness trim level, upgraded safety features, and a larger 11.6-inch touchscreen.

The bottom line: The 2024 Crosstrek is the better choice if you want the refreshed model-year updates, standard all-wheel drive, and a strong mix of practicality and technology. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may still make sense, but the 2024 is the more compelling pick when you want the newest version of Subaru’s formula.
