CarGurus Analysis: 2024 RAM 1500
Summary
With 275 currently listed for sale and an average price of $51,229 CAD, 27.6% of 2024 RAM 1500 listings on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favourably reviewed: Owners rated the 2024 RAM 1500 5 / 5 stars.
Why it stands out
The 2024 RAM 1500 stands out for combining full-size pickup capability with a notably refined driving experience. Ram’s redesign brought a more plush interior, updated frame, and mild hybrid technology, while also concentrating the range on extended and crew-cab models. That focus on comfort and refinement is a big part of the truck’s appeal, especially for buyers who want a pickup that feels more polished on the road than many rivals.
For 2024, the RAM 1500 also offers a broad spread of powertrains and equipment. The 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 is rated at 305 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque, while the 5.7-litre Hemi V8 makes 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque; both use an eight-speed automatic transmission. The truck’s maximum payload and towing capacity are listed at 1,043 kilograms and 5,783 kilograms, and available features include a 12-inch touchscreen, a 19-speaker Harman Kardon premium sound system, and advanced driver aids such as adaptive cruise control. Ram’s multifunction tailgate adds another practical touch.
There are limits, though. The buying guide notes that tow ratings tend to lag the competition, and advanced driver’s aids are only offered on higher trims. Even so, the 2024 RAM 1500 remains appealing because it blends a smooth ride, a roomy cabin, and strong interior quality with the kind of capability most buyers expect from a modern half-ton truck.

Great value for the price, roughly 7k below average price for this model truck, under 50k miles. I was hoping for LED headlamps, and the tires are a little worn, but the truck is in great condition, like new. Interior is fantastic. All leather, stereo is amazing.

Great vehicle, MPG is misleading though. Says 18MPG combined with which isn’t true. 16 mpg is about the average
