Is the 2024 Nissan Murano a good car?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Murano’s history in this generation points to a comfort-focused SUV with a strong crash-test record and a well-established mechanical formula. Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Nissan Murano?

This looks like a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 28.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 210 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.29% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $33,465 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $33,884 CAD sits slightly below last year's $35,778 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a mixed signal for future resale: it may help you buy at a more attractive entry point now, but it also suggests the model has been under some downward price pressure. If you plan to sell later, you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. A well-kept Murano with desirable equipment and a clean history should still appeal to comfort-focused SUV shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 28.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.29% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $46,324 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $33,884 CAD average.
• It brings a new powertrain and more modern tech and comfort features.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2024 if you want the better value and a comfort-first midsize SUV with strong owner approval. If you care more about the newest redesign and added features, the 2025 is the upgrade path, but it comes at a much higher price. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2024 is the smarter starting point.
