Is the 2024 Nissan Murano a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Nissan Murano earns a 5/5 user rating, and it suits you well if you want a comfortable, stylish midsize SUV with a premium feel. Its design leans into comfort and refinement rather than sportiness, and the cabin includes useful standard and available features such as heated front seats, an eight-inch infotainment touchscreen, a panoramic sunroof on the SV, leather seats on the SL, and ventilated front seats on the Platinum. In Canada, standard all-wheel drive adds year-round practicality.

With 29.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.

Is the 2024 Nissan Murano reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Murano’s reliability case is helped by its strong safety record and its focus on comfort-oriented engineering. The model’s third generation earned top scores from both the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, which supports confidence in how it is built and equipped.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the CVT and the Murano’s packaging compromises may matter more as kilometres add up.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Nissan Murano?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 29.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 213 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.47% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $33,473 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $34,178 CAD sits slightly below last year's $35,777 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Murano is currently more buyer-friendly than seller-friendly, which can make it easier to purchase well but may limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price, you reduce the risk of taking an immediate depreciation hit. The model’s comfort-focused appeal and standard all-wheel drive should still help it remain attractive to used shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 29.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.47% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $45,990 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $34,178 CAD average.
• It brings a full redesign with a new powertrain and more new tech.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the better value if you want Murano comfort, style, and standard all-wheel drive without paying for the redesign. If you want the newest version and can stretch your budget, the 2025 is the upgrade path; if you are price-sensitive, the 2024 is the smarter buy.
