Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Nissan Kicks?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,429 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.83% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $22,116 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Nissan Kicks's resale value?

The current average of $22,412 CAD sits slightly below last year's $24,856 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favour, which can make future resale expectations a bit more conservative. If you buy at the right price now, you may have less room for depreciation pressure than someone who paid closer to last year’s average. The Kicks’ value-focused positioning should help it stay relevant with budget-minded shoppers, especially if you keep mileage and condition in check.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Kicks or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.83% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $24,703 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $22,412 CAD average.
• The redesign adds available all-wheel drive and a more upscale feel.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2024 if you want the lower purchase price and a proven value formula. If you can stretch your budget and want a newer redesign with more features, the 2025 is the better upgrade path. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2024 remains the smarter buy.
