The 2024 Nissan Kicks is built around simplicity, reliability, and low running costs, which are all traits that tend to matter in everyday ownership. For long-term ownership, the main risk is less about complexity and more about whether the vehicle’s small size and modest performance suit your needs over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Nissan Kicks?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,405 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.00% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $22,116 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Nissan Kicks's resale value?

The current average of $22,531 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,033 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the Kicks easier to buy now but a little less favourable if you're planning to sell soon. If you own one for a few years, the current softness may limit short-term upside, though the model's value-focused reputation can still help it stay relevant with budget-minded shoppers. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Kicks or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.00% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $24,730 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $22,531 CAD average.
• The redesign adds available all-wheel drive and a more upscale feel.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2024 if you want the lower-priced, simpler option and value matters most. If you can stretch your budget and want the newer redesign with more features, the 2025 is the better path; price-sensitive buyers should stay focused on the 2024.
