Used 2024 Mazda CX-30 for Sale nearBarrie, ON

How much does the 2024 Mazda CX-30 cost?

Prices have softened 6.80% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 441 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Mazda CX-30 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Mazda CX-30 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 10/10.

It stands out as Mazda’s smallest crossover SUV, and its appeal comes from style, refinement, safety, and rewarding driving dynamics. The available turbocharged engine gives you a route to more power and performance, while standard all-wheel drive adds all-weather credibility.

The trade-offs are familiar for this class: rear-seat room and cargo space are tight, and the turbocharged version is noted for poor fuel economy.

With 35.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.

Is the 2024 Mazda CX-30 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 CX-30 is presented as a well-rounded small crossover with style, refinement, and strong safety credentials. Its standard all-wheel drive and available turbocharged engine give it a broad appeal, and the expert assessment describes it as easy to live with.

The performance notes point to a smooth, competent powertrain and a fun-to-drive character, with the turbo engine delivering power in a controlled, progressive way. The cost-effectiveness notes also say the standard 191-hp 2.5-litre engine returns decent fuel efficiency, and the lineup offers desirable features at an appealing price.

If you choose the turbocharged version, expect higher fuel costs over time, so long-term ownership risk is mainly about running expenses rather than basic appeal.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Mazda CX-30?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The GX, GS, and GT trims use the 191-horsepower 2.5-litre engine, while Suna models get the turbocharged four-cylinder. The cabin is praised for its style and refinement, but the base setup misses some of the richer equipment found higher up the range.
• Powertrain: You get a standard 2.5-litre four-cylinder with 191 hp, or a turbocharged four-cylinder with up to 250 hp. The turbo delivers stronger performance, but it is also the less efficient choice.
• Safety package: Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are standard on every version. Forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, and adaptive cruise control come in at the GS trim. GT and Suna models add front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking, rear automatic braking, a surround-view camera system, and traffic jam assist.
• Infotainment: GT and Suna versions get a 10.25-inch infotainment display, while other models use an 8.8-inch screen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available, and the larger display adds touchscreen functionality with smartphone mirroring. GT and Suna also add USB-C ports, a wireless smartphone charger, and a Bose premium audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: The turbocharged engine is rated at 9.3 L/100 km in combined driving, and the test route returned 13.3 L/100 km. The standard 2.5-litre engine is described as returning decent fuel efficiency.

Which 2024 Mazda CX-30 trim should I buy?

The 2024 Mazda CX-30 is offered in 4 trim levels: GX, GS, GT, and Suna.

Here's the short version:

• GX: This is the entry point, and it gives you the CX-30’s style, standard all-wheel drive, and the core appeal of the model without the extra equipment found higher up. It suits you if you want the look and driving character at the lowest price.
• GS: This is the best-value trim if you want the important safety upgrades, because it adds forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, and adaptive cruise control.
• GT: This is the better pick if you want a more upscale daily driver, because it adds the larger 10.25-inch infotainment display, USB-C ports, a wireless charger, and a Bose premium audio system.
• Suna: This is the most distinctive choice, pairing the turbocharged engine with the richest equipment list. It suits you if you want the strongest performance and the most fully loaded CX-30 experience.

Choose GS or higher if you want the broader safety package, and GT or Suna if you want the larger screen and added convenience features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Mazda CX-30?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 441 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.80% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $29,417 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Mazda CX-30's resale value?

The current average of $29,417 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,561 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you as a buyer today, but it also means a future seller may need to be realistic about expectations. If the market continues to favour shoppers, resale values may stay under pressure unless the vehicle is especially well equipped or priced competitively.

The CX-30’s strong safety reputation and broad appeal should help support demand over time. Higher-trim examples with desirable equipment may hold interest better than base models, especially if they are priced in line with the market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Mazda CX-30 safe?

The 2024 Mazda CX-30 earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS and five-star ratings in every NHTSA assessment except rollover resistance, where it gets a four-star rating.

It earns a 10/10 safety score from our experts.

Every version includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. Forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, and adaptive cruise control are part of the broader driver-assistance suite, though those latter features are not standard until GS trim in Canada.

Higher trims add adaptive headlights, front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking, rear automatic braking, a surround-view camera system, and traffic jam assist with lane-centring assist. The expert assessment also highlights strong lane-keeping behaviour and quick adaptive cruise response.

The main caveat is the four-star rollover result from NHTSA, even though the rest of the crash-test results are top-tier.

Should I buy a 2024 Mazda CX-30 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.80% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds a new Suna trim level, USB-C charging ports, and an available larger infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $28,151 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $29,417 CAD average.
• It offers an appealing design and a classy, high-quality interior.

The bottom line: Choose the 2024 if you want the latest updates, stronger market selection, and the full CX-30 feature set. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the better value play, especially if you can live without the newer equipment.
