Used 2024 Kia Sportage for Sale nearCalgary, AB

How much does the 2024 Kia Sportage cost?

Prices have softened 14.31% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 669 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Kia Sportage a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Kia Sportage earns a 4.5/5 user rating, and its overview points to a roomy, well-equipped compact SUV with a broad range of powertrain and trim choices. In Canada, it also stands out for standard heated front seats, available all-wheel drive across most of the line-up, and a strong set of convenience and driver-assistance features that make it appealing if you want a practical daily driver without moving up to a larger SUV. The market also shows 30.9% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Kia Sportage reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview suggests a vehicle built around established strengths rather than major changes, which can be reassuring if you prefer a proven formula. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about novelty and more about making sure the specific vehicle you choose has been maintained properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Kia Sportage?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 669 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.31% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $29,219 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Kia Sportage's resale value?

The current average of $29,244 CAD sits slightly below last year's $34,127 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Sportage easier to buy now but may also limit near-term upside for a future seller. If you plan to resell later, the current softness means your return will depend more on condition, mileage, and trim desirability than on broad market momentum. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Kia Sportage or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 30.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.31% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $27,366 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $29,244 CAD average.
• It offers a stylish, spacious cabin with strong everyday appeal.

The bottom line: Choose the 2024 if you want the stronger current-market balance of inventory, pricing, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2023 is the better value-focused alternative, especially if you find one in good condition with the equipment you want.
