The current average of $51,295 CAD sits slightly below last year's $62,801 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favourable entry point today, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays subdued. If demand remains steady, the model’s current pricing could still support a reasonable exit later on. The key for resale will be buying well now and keeping the vehicle in strong condition.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.25/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.32% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.25/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $62,268 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $51,295 CAD average.
• The 2025 Willys ’41 Special Edition adds distinctive heritage-themed styling.

The bottom line: Buy the 2024 if you want the better value and more negotiating room. If you care most about the newer-year styling and are willing to pay more, the 2025 is the better fit; otherwise, the 2024 is the smarter choice for price-sensitive buyers.
