Used 2024 Hyundai Palisade for Sale nearKelowna, BC

How much does the 2024 Hyundai Palisade cost?

Prices have softened 12.87% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 423 listings available, which suggests you should have some room to compare trims and pricing.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Hyundai Palisade earns a 5/5 from owners and an 8.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its luxurious feel, abundant tech features, comfortable driving experience, and generous room for passengers. The Palisade also comes across as a strong value, especially if you want a family SUV that feels more upscale than many rivals.

The main trade-offs are its polarising design and poor fuel economy, and some shoppers may also miss wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For a midsize three-row SUV aimed at families who want space and a more premium atmosphere, that mix still lands well.

With 35.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is a decent amount of market flexibility for shoppers who are ready to compare.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with praise for the Palisade’s long-term value, comfort, and everyday usability. That kind of response suggests you can count on it as a family hauler if it has been maintained properly.

Hyundai’s five-year, 100,000-kilometre new vehicle warranty and five years of roadside assistance add another layer of confidence for used buyers. Even so, you should still check service records carefully, since long-term ownership risk always depends on how the previous owner treated the vehicle.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Hyundai Palisade?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Palisade comes in Urban and Ultimate Calligraphy trims. The Ultimate Calligraphy adds a more luxurious cabin with an artificial suede headliner, quality upholstery, metal speaker grilles, striped dashboard and door trim, and wireless charging. If you want the best-value choice, the Urban trim gives you the core Palisade experience without stretching to the top end.
• Powertrain: Every Palisade uses a 3.8-litre V6 with 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. In Canada, all-wheel drive is standard, and the SUV offers 20.3 centimetres of ground clearance.
• Safety package: Hyundai’s driver-assistance suite includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, a blind-spot view camera system, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, intersection assist, safe exit assist, automatic high-beam headlights, front and rear parking sensors, and a rear-seat reminder system. Highway Driving Assist is standard, while the Ultimate Calligraphy trim adds lane-change assist.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch digital instrumentation panel and a 12.3-inch touchscreen with navigation, Bluetooth, SiriusXM satellite radio, and rear-seat Quiet Mode. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, but they require a cable connection. Wireless charging is included only on the Ultimate Calligraphy trim.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada says the AWD Palisade should use 11.1 L/100 km combined, and the test vehicle averaged 15.0 L/100 km in Comfort mode.

Which 2024 Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2024 Hyundai Palisade is offered in 2 trim levels: Urban and Ultimate Calligraphy.

Here's the short version:

• Urban: This is the trim to focus on if you want the Palisade’s roomy, upscale family-SUV formula at the lower entry point. It still gives you the standard V6, AWD, the full safety suite, and the 12.3-inch infotainment setup, so it covers the essentials well.
• Ultimate Calligraphy: Choose this if you want the most luxurious Palisade experience. It adds the richer cabin treatment, wireless charging, and lane-change assist for Highway Driving Assist, making it the clear pick if you value comfort and convenience over price.

Hyundai’s safety package is standard across the lineup, while Highway Driving Assist gains lane-change assist on the Ultimate Calligraphy.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Hyundai Palisade?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 423 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.87% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $43,313 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade's resale value?

The current average of $43,313 CAD sits slightly below last year's $49,710 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has become more buyer-friendly, which can make it harder for sellers to command top dollar right now. If you own one, strong condition, lower kilometres, and a well-documented service history will matter more when you go to sell.

Because the Palisade still has broad appeal as a roomy, well-equipped three-row SUV, demand should remain solid for clean examples. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade safe?

The 2024 Palisade earns a Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), and it gets a five-star rating for side-impact collisions and a four-star rollover resistance rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Hyundai equips it with a generous safety suite that includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, a blind-spot view camera system, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, intersection assist, safe exit assist, automatic high-beam headlights, front and rear parking sensors, and a rear-seat reminder system. Highway Driving Assist is standard, pairing adaptive cruise control with curve speed control and lane-centring assist.

One caveat is that the IIHS rating does not reflect the SUV’s performance in the newer moderate overlap frontal-impact test for rear occupant safety.

Should I buy a 2024 Hyundai Palisade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.87% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines a roomy cabin, upscale materials, and strong value with a refreshed design and standard AWD.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $39,536 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $43,313 CAD average.
• It adds a facelift and more standard tech and safety features.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $48,421 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $43,313 CAD average.
• It remains a well-rounded, roomy three-row SUV with broad appeal.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the sweet spot if you want the latest version of this generation with strong owner satisfaction and a softer market. If price matters most, the 2023 is the value play; if you want to compare against the last year of the current generation, the 2025 still makes sense when you find a compelling deal.
