Used 2024 Hyundai Palisade for Sale nearHamilton, ON

How much does the 2024 Hyundai Palisade cost?

Prices have softened 12.85% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 411 listings available, which suggests a reasonable amount of inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Hyundai Palisade earns a 5/5 from owners and an 8.67/10 from our experts. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its luxurious feel, abundant tech features, comfortable driving experience, generous room for passengers, and strong value. That lines up well with its use case as a family-friendly three-row SUV that feels more upscale than many rivals.

The main trade-offs are its polarizing design and poor fuel economy, and some shoppers may also miss wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Even so, it remains a compelling choice if you want a roomy, well-equipped SUV with broad appeal.

The market also looks supportive, with 35.3% of listings classified as good or great deals.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with many buyers describing the Palisade as a vehicle they feel good about keeping for the long term. The expert evaluation also reinforces that impression by highlighting Hyundai’s strong warranty coverage and the SUV’s solid overall value.

Hyundai includes five years or 100,000 kilometres of new vehicle warranty coverage, plus five years of roadside assistance, which helps reduce early ownership risk. For used buyers, the main long-term concern is less about durability and more about whether the vehicle’s equipment and condition match your expectations at the price.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Hyundai Palisade?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Palisade is offered in two trims: Urban and Ultimate Calligraphy. The Ultimate Calligraphy adds a more luxurious cabin with an artificial suede headliner, quality upholstery, metal speaker grilles, striped dashboard and door trim, and wireless charging. If you want the best value, the Urban trim gives you the core Palisade experience without stretching to the top trim.
• Powertrain: Every Palisade uses a 3.8-litre V6 with 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. In Canada, AWD is standard, and the SUV is tuned for confident everyday driving rather than challenging off-road use.
• Safety package: Hyundai’s driver-assistance suite includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, a blind-spot view camera system, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, intersection assist, safe exit assist, automatic high-beam headlights, front and rear parking sensors, and a rear-seat reminder system. Highway Driving Assist is standard, while the Ultimate Calligraphy adds lane-change assist.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch digital instrumentation panel and a 12.3-inch touchscreen with navigation, Bluetooth, SiriusXM satellite radio, and rear-seat Quiet Mode. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, but they require a cable connection; wireless charging is reserved for the Ultimate Calligraphy.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada says the AWD Palisade should use 11.1 L/100 km in combined driving, and the test vehicle averaged 15.0 L/100 km on a testing loop.

Which 2024 Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2024 Hyundai Palisade is offered in 2 trim levels: Urban and Ultimate Calligraphy.

Here's the short version:

• Urban: This is the smarter value pick if you want the Palisade’s roomy cabin, strong standard safety equipment, and full-size family utility without paying for the most luxurious extras. It gives you the core strengths that make the Palisade appealing in the first place.
• Ultimate Calligraphy: Choose this if you want the most upscale version of the Palisade, with the richer interior materials, artificial suede headliner, wireless charging, and added Highway Driving Assist lane-change assist. It suits you best if comfort and premium feel matter more than price.

The Ultimate Calligraphy also gets the extra safety-related lane-change assist feature.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Hyundai Palisade?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 411 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.85% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $43,526 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade's resale value?

The current average of $43,526 CAD sits slightly below last year's $49,942 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy more confidently now, but it also means future sellers may face a more competitive market if values continue to ease. If you plan to resell later, condition, mileage, and trim choice will matter more when the market is already leaning in buyers’ favour.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Palisade safe?

The 2024 Palisade earns a Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), and it gets five-star ratings for side-impact collisions and four-star rollover resistance from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Hyundai equips it with a broad safety suite that includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, a blind-spot view camera system, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, intersection assist, safe exit assist, automatic high-beam headlights, front and rear parking sensors, and a rear-seat reminder system. Highway Driving Assist is standard, pairing adaptive cruise control with curve speed control and lane-centring assist, and the Ultimate Calligraphy adds lane-change assist.

One caveat is that the IIHS rating does not reflect the SUV’s performance in the newer moderate overlap frontal-impact test for rear occupant safety.

Should I buy a 2024 Hyundai Palisade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.85% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines upscale materials, strong family practicality, and a broad safety suite.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $39,956 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $43,526 CAD average.
• It adds a facelift and more standard and optional tech and safety features.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $48,599 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $43,526 CAD average.
• It remains well refined, but it is the outgoing generation before a redesign.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around pick if you want the strongest mix of value, equipment, and current-market pricing. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the better bargain; if you want to spend more for a later-year example, the 2025 still makes sense when the deal is compelling.
