CarGurus Analysis: 2024 Honda Accord
Summary
With 44 currently listed for sale and an average price of $29,682 CAD, 36.4% of 2024 Honda Accord listings on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favourably reviewed: Owners rated the 2024 Honda Accord 5 / 5 stars.
Why it stands out
The 2024 Honda Accord stands out because it continues a long-running reputation for being practical, refined, and easy to live with while adding a more modern, technology-rich feel. Honda’s current Accord is described as refreshed and rejuvenated rather than radically changed, and that evolutionary approach helps it remain familiar while still feeling up to date. It also keeps the Accord’s traditional strengths intact: a roomy rear seat, an expansive cargo hold, and a generally high-quality cabin with a near-luxury feel in better-equipped versions.
What makes the 2024 Honda Accord especially distinctive is how much standard equipment it brings to the table. Most models come with Honda’s hybrid system, while the gas-only EX trim uses a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine with a CVT. Inside, the Accord gets a stylish metal dashboard trim, a touchscreen infotainment system, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and physical buttons for the radio and dual-zone climate controls. Honda Sensing is standard, along with adaptive cruise control with traffic-jam assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, road-departure mitigation, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, a reverse camera with three views, automatic high-beam headlights, traffic-sign recognition, and a driver-monitoring system.
For buyers, the appeal is straightforward: the 2024 Honda Accord blends comfort, safety, and everyday usability with a polished driving experience and strong reliability expectations. It is also well equipped, but that comes with a price that sits on the high side compared with several rivals. The styling is more conservative than flashy, and there is no all-wheel drive option, so it is not the most adventurous choice. Even so, for shoppers who want a spacious, well-built family sedan with modern tech and a strong safety package, the Accord remains an easy car to understand and a compelling one to consider.

My 2024 Honda Accord is a solid car that is reliable, efficient, comfortable, affordable, and easy to maintain. It has desirable features like blind spot detection, a moon roof, numerous air bags, heated seats, great gas mileage and various safety features. Plus it is a good looking sedan. This is my third Accord and I am very pleased with it. Please note our son is still driving my 2002 Accord with no major issues. If you are looking for a car that will be reliable, affordable, comfortable and last a long time the Honda Accord is a great choice.

How much does the 2024 Honda Accord cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $30,277 CAD |
| Year-Round Low | $30,270 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $34,188 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $34,219 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −11.52% |
Prices have softened 11.52% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.
There are 93 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.
Is the 2024 Honda Accord a good car?
Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2024 Honda Accord, and it fits the car’s practical, refined, and easy-to-live-with character. The Accord’s roomy rear seat, expansive cargo hold, and high-quality cabin make it a strong fit if you want a family sedan that feels polished without being fussy. Its standard equipment list is also generous, with modern infotainment and a broad safety package that supports everyday use. With 32.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop carefully.
Is the 2024 Honda Accord reliable?
Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
The Accord’s reputation for reliability is reinforced by its practical design, familiar powertrain choices, and focus on everyday usability. For used buyers, that usually points to lower ownership stress over time, especially if the car has been maintained properly.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Honda Accord?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient.
- Deal availability: 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 93 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 11.52% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $30,270 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2024 Honda Accord's resale value?
The current average of $30,277 CAD sits slightly below last year's $34,219 CAD.
That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the car easier to buy now but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you purchase at a strong price, you may have a better chance of protecting your value later. The Accord’s broad appeal and strong reputation should help support demand, especially among shoppers who want a practical sedan with a premium feel. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2024 if:
- 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 11.52% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
Consider the 2023 if:
- At $27,512 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $30,277 CAD average.
- It offers a fun-to-drive, spacious, safety-focused family-sedan formula.
The bottom line: Choose the 2024 if you want the newer, better-equipped Accord with a strong satisfaction signal and decent deal availability. Consider the 2023 if your priority is saving money upfront while still getting the Accord’s core strengths.
