Used 2024 Ford Mustang for Sale nearWindsor, ON

How much does the 2024 Ford Mustang cost?

Prices have softened 2.42% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 234 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.

Is the 2024 Ford Mustang a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Ford Mustang earns a 4.75/5 user rating and a 7.17/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Performance and Technology.

Owners consistently praise its performance, driving experience, speed, handling, engine sound, and updated technology. That lines up well with the Mustang’s role as a fun, budget-conscious choice for you if you want a classic muscle-car feel with modern tech.

The trade-offs are familiar: the back seat is cramped, cargo space is limited, and the cabin can be noisy. Even so, the Mustang’s mix of nostalgia, strong value, and everyday usability makes it appealing if you care more about driving enjoyment than practicality.

Only 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is selective rather than flooded with bargains.

Is the 2024 Ford Mustang reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels dependable in the ways that matter most to enthusiasts: strong performance, enjoyable driving dynamics, and technology that works well in daily use. The expert assessment also describes the Mustang as approachable and easy to drive, which supports confidence for long-term ownership.

The first scheduled maintenance visit is on the house, which helps reduce early ownership costs.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about day-to-day dependability and more about choosing a well-kept example that has been maintained properly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Ford Mustang?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin and exterior get a more modern look, with improved materials and a cleaner dashboard design, but base models still miss some of the richer presentation you get higher up. If you want the most upscale feel, look closely at the trims with the single-enclosure display setup and the added comfort features.
• Powertrain: The EcoBoost 2.3-litre turbo four-cylinder makes 315 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque, while GT models use the 5.0-litre V8 with 480 hp and 415 lb-ft. The V8 is the more complete muscle-car choice, while the four-cylinder is the easier fit if you want strong performance with less cost.
• Safety package: All Mustangs include frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, rear parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers, and automatic high beams. Adaptive cruise control and a safe passenger exit warning are optional, so check whether the example you’re considering has them.
• Infotainment: Every model gets a 13.2-inch touchscreen and a digital instrument cluster. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, Amazon Alexa integration is included, and a Wi-Fi hotspot comes on all models. Premium models place the displays in a single enclosure, while base models use two separate screens.
• Fuel efficiency: The EcoBoost is rated at 10.8 L/100 km city, 7.1 L/100 km highway, and 9.2 L/100 km combined. With the Performance Pack, it rises to 11.1/8.2/9.8 L/100 km. The GT with automatic transmission is rated at 15.8/9.8/13.1 L/100 km, while the manual raises that to 16.6/10.2/13.8 L/100 km.

Which 2024 Ford Mustang trim should I buy?

The 2024 Ford Mustang is offered in 4 trim levels: EcoBoost, EcoBoost Premium, Ford Mustang GT, GT Premium.

Here's the short version:

• EcoBoost: This is the value play if you want the Mustang experience at the lowest starting price. You still get the core styling, the 13.2-inch touchscreen, and the standard safety and connectivity features, making it the best fit if you care most about keeping costs down.
• EcoBoost Premium: Choose this if you want a more upscale cabin and the cleaner single-enclosure display layout without stepping all the way up to V8 power. It suits you best if comfort and presentation matter as much as performance.
• Ford Mustang GT: This is the enthusiast’s choice, with the 5.0-litre V8, standard manual transmission, and the strongest performance character in the lineup. If you want the most authentic muscle-car feel, this is the one to target.
• GT Premium: Pick this if you want V8 performance plus the more refined interior presentation and available comfort upgrades. It is the best fit if you want the most complete Mustang experience and are willing to pay for it.

All Mustangs include the standard driver-assistance suite, while adaptive cruise control and a safe passenger exit warning remain optional.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Ford Mustang?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to shop carefully and compare examples.

• Deal availability: 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 234 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.42% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $48,567 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Ford Mustang's resale value?

The current average of $51,982 CAD sits slightly below last year's $53,269 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Mustang has become a bit more accessible for used buyers, which can make it easier for future sellers to attract interest if the car is well kept. The current market also shows that demand is still present, but buyers have more room to be selective than they did a year ago.

For a seller, that means condition, trim, and equipment will matter a lot when it comes time to list. A clean example with the right options should still hold attention well, but you should expect pricing to be shaped by the broader cooling trend.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Ford Mustang safe?

The 2024 Ford Mustang earns Good ratings from the IIHS, with an Acceptable result in the driver-side small overlap test. It also earns five-star ratings across the board from NHTSA based on the previous generation’s results.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features include frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, rear parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers, and automatic high beams. Adaptive cruise control and a safe passenger exit warning are available as options.

The main caveat is that the current model’s crash-test results were not yet available in the source material, so the cited ratings come from the previous generation on which it is based.

Should I buy a 2024 Ford Mustang or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.42% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 Mustang stands out as the last remaining muscle car, with major interior and technology upgrades that make it feel more current than the outgoing generation.

The bottom line: If you want the most up-to-date version of the Mustang formula, the 2024 model is the one to focus on. It gives you the strongest mix of nostalgia, modern tech, and broad appeal in the current market. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby model year may still make sense, but the 2024 is the better pick if you want the newest seventh-generation package and can find a well-priced example.
