How much does the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E cost?

Prices have softened 11.64% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

Is the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.5/10 expert rating.

The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Cost effectiveness.

It stands out as a sporty all-electric crossover with distinctive styling, over-the-air update capability, post-purchase upgrade potential, and available BlueCruise hands-free highway driving technology. For 2024, Ford also adds a new Rally trim and updates the rest of the lineup, which helps keep the vehicle feeling fresh for buyers who want an electric SUV with personality.

The trade-offs are worth noting: the ride can feel uncomfortably stiff, and the lack of physical buttons for climate control may frustrate some drivers.

Only 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is somewhat selective rather than broadly discounted.

Is the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Ford’s continued updates and over-the-air capability suggest the Mach-E is being actively supported after purchase, and the model’s newer rear eMotor and charging improvements point to ongoing refinement. The expert assessment also highlights Ford’s continued attention to the vehicle, which helps strengthen confidence in day-to-day ownership.

The performance side is especially reassuring for used buyers because Ford has kept improving the platform rather than letting it stagnate. For long-term ownership, your main risk is less about basic dependability and more about whether the features and ride quality suit your expectations over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup ranges from the Select and Premium to the GT and the new Rally. Base trims focus more on the core EV experience, while higher trims add more distinctive styling and performance-oriented hardware.
• Powertrain: You can shop single-motor rear-wheel drive or dual-motor all-wheel drive depending on trim. The rear motor was updated for 2024, and the GT and Rally are AWD-only.
• Safety package: BlueCruise 1.3 is available on every 2024 Mustang Mach-E, and the Ford CoPilot 360 suite includes blind-spot information with cross-traffic alert, pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, evasive steering assist, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, and a 360-degree camera.
• Infotainment: You get a 15.5-inch portrait touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and SYNC 4A with over-the-air update capability.
• Range & charging: Natural Resources Canada estimates 402 km of range for the base model with the standard-range battery and single-motor RWD setup. The longest available range is 515 km on the Premium with the extended-range battery and RWD. DC fast charging takes about 32 minutes from 10 to 80% for the 72-kWh battery and about 36 minutes for the 91-kWh battery.
• Battery health: As with any used EV, check battery state-of-health, review charging habits, and confirm how often the car has relied on home charging versus frequent DC fast charging. Also verify how much of the battery warranty remains.

Which 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E trim should I buy?

The 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E is offered in 4 trim levels: Select, Premium, GT, Rally.

Here's the short version:

• Select: This is the entry point if you want the Mach-E experience at the lowest price. It gives you the core EV hardware and the standard safety and tech features, making it the value-focused starting point.
• Premium: This is the best-value trim if range matters most, since it offers the longest available driving range in the lineup. It suits you if you want the most practical balance of distance, equipment, and everyday usability.
• GT: Choose this if you want the sportier, more performance-focused setup. It adds Ford Performance hardware such as the front seats, MagneRide suspension, and Brembo front brake calipers.
• Rally: Pick this if you want the most distinctive version of the Mach-E. It builds on the GT’s hardware and adds unique rally-inspired styling, a 2.5-centimetre lift, and suspension tuning meant to account for off-road use as well as road driving.

BlueCruise 1.3 is available on every 2024 Mustang Mach-E, so the safety and highway-assist story is consistent across the lineup.

What is the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E's resale value?

The current average of $40,822 CAD sits slightly below last year's $46,202 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you as a buyer now, but it also means future sellers may need to be realistic about where the market has settled. If prices continue to normalise, resale values may stay under pressure compared with the prior year’s level.

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.64% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Ford adds a new Rally trim and updates the rest of the lineup, keeping the model fresh.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $35,658 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $40,822 CAD average.
• It offers a polished electric crossover with style, performance, technology, and utility.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version with the latest trim and updates, the 2024 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is saving money and you’re comfortable giving up some of the newest changes, the 2023 is the smarter value play.
