Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Ford Expedition?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 183 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.38% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $65,132 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Ford Expedition's resale value?

The current average of $65,132 CAD sits slightly below last year's $82,849 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make future resale expectations more conservative if you buy today. If you plan to sell later, the current lower entry point may help reduce your upfront exposure, but it also means you should be realistic about how much value the vehicle may retain. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Ford Expedition or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.38% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $88,520 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $65,132 CAD average.
• It brings an all-new, tech-forward cabin and the new Tremor trim.

The bottom line: Choose the 2024 if you want the better value and a proven full-size SUV formula. Consider the 2025 if you want the newest design and are willing to pay more for the updated cabin and added off-road capability.
