Used 2024 Chrysler Pacifica for Sale nearHalifax, NS

How much does the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica cost?

Prices have softened 17.52% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 552 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica a good car?

Yes — it earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.2/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Form and function.

The 2024 Pacifica stands out as a minivan that brings a stylish design, a comfortable ride, and easy-to-use technology to a family-focused package. It is also the last Chrysler model standing, and it continues with minimal changes for 2024 beyond a handful of new colour options.

The trade-offs are that performance is fairly pedestrian and the interior materials feel cheap. The cabin design also has some functional issues, even though the overall layout is attractive.

For you, that means the Pacifica makes the most sense if you want a polished family vehicle rather than something that prioritises driving excitement. The market also shows 36.1% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Pacifica is described as a long-serving, proven minivan that has been part of Chrysler’s lineup for years, and it continues with minimal changes for 2024. Its V6 powertrain is also presented as a good fit for the vehicle, with enough reserve for everyday use and towing.

The available warranty coverage is a useful ownership plus, and the model’s established design should help reduce the risk of early-model surprises for used buyers. For you, the main long-term ownership risk is less about novelty and more about choosing a well-kept example with the features and condition you want.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chrysler Pacifica?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Touring trim gets the essentials, including LED lighting and the standard infotainment setup, while higher trims add larger wheels and more upscale equipment. The cabin is attractive, but some materials still feel cheaper than you might expect, so it is worth checking whether the trim you are considering feels sufficiently well equipped for your needs.
• Powertrain: The standard setup uses a 3.6-litre V6 with 287 horsepower and a nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is available on Touring L and Limited and standard on Pinnacle.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and rear park assist. A 360-degree camera system, front park assist, and a parallel/perpendicular park assist system are optional.
• Infotainment: You get a 10.1-inch touchscreen with Uconnect 5, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, and a 7-inch digital display in the gauge cluster. Built-in navigation, a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, and up to 12 USB-C ports are available.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada rates the Pacifica at 10.6 L/100 km combined with front-wheel drive and 12.0 L/100 km combined with all-wheel drive.

Which 2024 Chrysler Pacifica trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chrysler Pacifica is offered in 4 trim levels: Touring, Touring L, Limited, and Pinnacle.

Here's the short version:

• Touring: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Pacifica’s core strengths without stretching the budget. It is the trim to consider if you want the Pacifica’s style, comfort, and technology in the most straightforward package.
• Touring L: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it adds more equipment and is also one of the trims where all-wheel drive is available. If you want the sweet spot between price and features, this is the one to focus on first.
• Limited: This trim moves the Pacifica further upmarket and is a better fit if you want a more premium-feeling family vehicle. It also offers all-wheel drive.
• Pinnacle: This is the top trim and the most luxurious version in the lineup, with all-wheel drive standard. It suits you best if you want the most upscale Pacifica experience and are willing to pay for it.

The safety package includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and rear park assist.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Chrysler Pacifica?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on strong examples.

• Deal availability: 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 552 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.52% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $36,284 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica's resale value?

The current average of $36,284 CAD sits slightly below last year's $43,990 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Pacifica has become more accessible for used buyers, which can make it easier for a future seller to attract interest if the vehicle is well maintained. The current market also shows that shoppers still have plenty of listings to compare, so condition and equipment will matter when it comes time to resell.

For you as a buyer, that means depreciation has already done some of the work. For a future seller, it means a clean, well-equipped Pacifica should still have appeal, especially if it is priced in line with the market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica safe?

The 2024 Chrysler Pacifica was named a 2023 Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), missing out on the highest Top Safety Pick+ award due to low scores in updated moderate overlap front and side crash tests and middling ratings for headlights and front crash prevention tech. It earns five-star ratings in frontal and side crash tests, and four-star ratings in rollover crash tests from NHTSA.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features include blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and rear park assist. A 360-degree camera system, front park assist, and a parallel/perpendicular park assist system are optional.

The main caveat is that it did not reach the highest IIHS award level, so if top-tier crash-test recognition is a priority, that is worth keeping in mind.

Should I buy a 2024 Chrysler Pacifica or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.52% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 model keeps the Pacifica’s familiar formula with only a handful of new colour options.

The bottom line: If you want the Pacifica’s established mix of style, comfort, and family-friendly tech at a softer used price, the 2024 is the sensible pick. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also use the broader market to compare condition and equipment carefully before deciding.
