Used 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV for Sale nearOttawa, ON

How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV cost?

Prices have softened 5.75% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 116 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.8/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 9/10.

It is built on GM’s Ultium platform, so you are getting a dedicated electric crossover rather than a converted gas model. That helps explain the comfortable character, quiet cabin, and strong value focus, especially if you want an everyday EV that feels approachable.

The main trade-offs are fairly pedestrian performance and the fact that some appealing features cost extra. Even so, the overall package suits you well if you want range, comfort, and value more than excitement.

26.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which is a decent sign that there are worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Equinox EV is built on a dedicated EV architecture, which supports its straightforward electric design and should help it feel more purpose-built than a retrofit. Its battery is backed by an eight-year/160,000-kilometre warranty, which is a useful ownership safeguard for a used buyer.

The performance notes also point to a normal, easygoing driving experience rather than something complicated or highly stressed. For used ownership, your biggest long-term risk is mainly battery and charging-condition uncertainty, so a careful inspection and charging-history review matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The 2LT is the most approachable trim, while the 2RS, 3LT, and 3RS add more equipment and larger 21-inch wheels; the base trim also misses the LED light bar seen on higher trims.
• Powertrain: You can shop single-motor FWD or dual-motor AWD versions; the FWD model makes 213 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque, while AWD increases output to 288 horsepower and 333 lb-ft of torque.
• Safety package: Chevy Safety Assist is standard, including automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning, forward collision alert, automatic high beams, rear park assist, reverse automatic braking, rear cross-traffic braking, blind-zone steering assist, Safety Alert Seat, traffic sign recognition, and adaptive cruise control.
• Infotainment: Every trim gets a 17.7-inch infotainment touchscreen, an 11-inch driver-information screen, Google Built-In, and no standalone Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
• Range & charging: FWD models are estimated at 513 kilometres of range, AWD models at 494 km, and every Equinox EV can DC fast charge at up to 150 kW; the battery is 85 kWh.
• Battery health: For a used EV, ask for battery state-of-health information, review how often it was DC fast charged versus charged at home, and confirm how much of the eight-year/160,000-kilometre battery warranty remains.

Which 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV is offered in 4 trim levels: 2LT, 2RS, 3LT, 3RS.

Here's the short version:

• 2LT: This is the best-value choice if you want the most accessible entry point, standard 19-inch wheels, and the core EV experience without paying for extra appearance or equipment upgrades.
• 2RS: Choose this if you want a sportier look and are comfortable paying more for the RS treatment; it adds visual flair without changing the Equinox EV’s value-first mission.
• 3LT: This trim suits you if you want a more upscale feel and are willing to move up for additional equipment while staying on the practical side of the lineup.
• 3RS: Pick this if you want the most fully featured RS version and do not mind paying for the top-end trim experience.

Super Cruise becomes available starting with the 2LT trim, and enhanced automatic parking assist is available on higher trims.

• Deal availability: 26.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 116 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.75% compared with last year.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV's resale value?

The current average of $36,901 CAD sits slightly below last year's $39,151 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it can also mean future sellers may need to stay realistic on asking price. If you buy well now, you may have less downside risk than someone who purchased when prices were higher. The current range also shows that clean, well-priced examples should still attract attention.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

GM’s Teen Driver Technology is also standard, which lets parents set speed alerts, limit audio volume, and enforce Buckle to Drive.

Super Cruise becomes available starting with the 2LT trim, and enhanced automatic parking assist is available on higher trims. The main safety caveat is that some of the most advanced convenience features are not standard on every trim.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 26.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.75% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Expert highlight: it delivers excellent value for money with impressive electric range and a quiet cabin.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $39,974 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $36,901 CAD average.
• It adds available 500 kilometres plus of range on a single charge.

The bottom line: If you want the better price today, the 2024 is the smarter buy. If you are willing to pay more for the newer model year and its range-focused updates, the 2025 is the alternative to watch.
