Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Cadillac XT5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Inventory: There are 110 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.87% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $45,301 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Cadillac XT5's resale value?

The current average of $45,301 CAD sits slightly below last year's $49,708 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favourable point in the cycle, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, buying well below the current average matters more than usual. Strong demand for clean, well-kept examples should still help support value.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Cadillac XT5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.87% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $37,978 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $45,301 CAD average.
• It offers strong value and a roomy cabin.

The bottom line: Choose the 2024 if you want the newer model year and are comfortable paying more for it. If your priority is value, the 2023 is the better path because it delivers a similar luxury experience for less money.
