Used 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ for Sale nearCambridge, ON

How much does the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ cost?

Prices have softened 10.09% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 133 listings available, which suggests you have a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ a good car?

Yes — with a user rating of 4.6/5 and an expert rating of 6.8/10, the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ lands as a strong choice if you want a luxury-leaning electric SUV. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

Owners consistently praise the comfortable and quiet ride, stylish appearance, strong acceleration, and impressive range. The review summary also points to advanced tech features and a cabin that feels more upscale than many expect from Cadillac.

The trade-offs are clear: the driving experience is not especially exciting, and some owners mention charging-process frustrations and electronics issues. That lines up with the overview, which frames the LYRIQ as a higher-priced, two-row electric SUV for shoppers who want a more upscale take on the EV formula rather than a sporty one.

With 27.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still enough market activity to help you shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner summary points to a comfortable and quiet ride, impressive range, and a generally positive ownership experience, while also describing the vehicle as dependable in day-to-day use for many shoppers. The expert drive notes that the LYRIQ is calm, poised, and well suited to highway travel, which supports the impression of a vehicle you can count on for relaxed commuting and road trips.

Cadillac also includes a standard suite of driver-assistance features that should help reduce stress in routine driving. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that charging concerns and electronics complaints could become more annoying as the vehicle ages, so a careful pre-purchase inspection matters.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Tech trim is the entry point, while the Sport trim adds a darker exterior treatment and the Luxury trims emphasise a brighter, more traditional Cadillac look. The standard 20-inch wheels are less visually dramatic than the 22-inch setup, and the floating centre console offers little usable storage underneath.
• Powertrain: The standard setup is a single rear motor with 340 hp and 325 lb-ft, while the optional dual-motor AWD setup delivers 500 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. The dual-motor version is available on every trim, and the heavier AWD setup is the one tied to the higher towing figure.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, reverse automatic braking, and Cadillac's Safety Alert Seat. Adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system, and a rear camera displayed on the rearview mirror are optional.
• Infotainment: You get a 33-inch OLED display, native Google Maps and Google Assistant, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and an available Super Cruise system. The interface is a major strength, so make sure all screen functions and connected features work properly.
• Range & charging: Cadillac claims up to 505 kilometres of range with rear-wheel drive and 494 km with AWD from the 102-kilowatt-hour battery pack. DC fast charging can top the battery to 80 percent in about 30 to 35 minutes, and the available 19.2-kW Level 2 onboard charger is worth seeking out if you charge at home often.
• Battery health: For a used EV, you should check battery state-of-health, confirm how the car has been charged over time, and review whether most charging happened at home or through frequent DC fast charging. You should also verify how much of the battery warranty remains before you buy.

Which 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ trim should I buy?

The 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ is offered in 2 trim levels: Tech and Sport.

Here's the short version:

• Tech: This is the trim to focus on if you want the lowest entry price and the core LYRIQ experience, including the big screen, standard wireless smartphone integration, and the full standard safety suite. It is the best-value starting point for most used buyers.
• Sport: Choose this if you want the darker exterior treatment and a more aggressive look. It suits you best if styling matters more than value, especially since the LYRIQ’s strongest traits are comfort, design, and technology rather than handling.

The standard safety package is strong across the lineup, but some advanced features remain optional.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some confidence if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 27.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 133 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.09% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $45,109 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ's resale value?

The current average of $49,314 CAD sits slightly below last year's $54,846 CAD.

That price movement suggests the LYRIQ has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can be helpful if you are buying used but less ideal if you are planning to sell soon. If the market continues to soften, future sellers may need to price more aggressively to stand out.

On the other hand, the model's strong styling, technology, and comfort should help keep it appealing to luxury EV shoppers. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ safe?

The Cadillac Lyriq gets a poor rating for its headlights from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and an acceptable mark for its front pedestrian collision avoidance system.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes forward automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, reverse automatic braking, and Cadillac's Safety Alert Seat. Adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system, and a rear camera displayed on the rearview mirror are optional.

The main caveat is the poor headlight result, so if you drive often at night, that is worth weighing carefully.

Should I buy a 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 27.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.09% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It is the first full model year after the shortened 2023 introduction, with the brand’s best interior design in a long time and up to 505 kilometres of range.

The bottom line: If you want the most polished version of this early LYRIQ formula, the 2024 is the one to target because it combines the strongest cabin presentation with solid range and a more established used market. If your priority is simply the lowest possible purchase price, a later search for the best-equipped example at the right discount may make more sense than paying extra for a specific year.
