Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

What is the 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ's resale value?

The current average of $45,630 CAD sits slightly below last year's $49,744 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy more confidently now, but it also means future resale may depend more heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. If the market stays steady, a well-kept example should remain easier to move than one with visible wear or unresolved issues.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.27% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $49,057 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $45,630 CAD average.
• It brings a more upscale cabin with improved materials and a stronger luxury feel.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2023 if you want the lower average price and a market that still offers some deal potential. If you’re willing to spend more for a newer model-year experience and a more refined interior, the 2024 is the better secondary path.
