Is the 2025 Cadillac LYRIQ a good car?

The 2025 Cadillac LYRIQ is a moderate choice if you want a used electric luxury SUV with a current average price of $59,492 CAD and a market that has softened meaningfully from last year. Its appeal is strongest if you value a premium Cadillac badge, EV power, and a shopping environment with enough supply to be selective.

With 32.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to find a competitive offer.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Cadillac LYRIQ?

It looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, especially if you are willing to compare listings carefully and move quickly on strong pricing.

• Deal availability: 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 135 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.55% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $58,944 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Cadillac LYRIQ's resale value?

The current average of $59,492 CAD sits slightly below last year's $71,291 CAD.

That drop suggests the used market has become more favourable for buyers, but it can also mean future sellers may face more price pressure if the trend continues. If you buy at the right number now, you may have less downside risk than someone who paid closer to last year's average. For resale, condition, mileage, and equipment will matter even more in a market that has already moved lower.

Should I buy a 2025 Cadillac LYRIQ or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.55% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $49,057 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $59,492 CAD average.
• It offers a more established first full model year with a notably upscale cabin.

The bottom line: If you want the current-year LYRIQ and can find one priced near the lower end of the market, the 2025 is the cleaner target. If your priority is saving money, the 2024 is the better value path and still gives you the core LYRIQ experience.
