Used 2024 Buick Encore GX for Sale near Ontario

How much does the 2024 Buick Encore GX cost?

Prices have softened 8.50% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 267 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory for shoppers.

Is the 2024 Buick Encore GX a good car?

Yes — it earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.7/10 expert rating.

The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, Cost effectiveness, and Safety.

It stands out as a smartly refreshed subcompact crossover with an attractive design, a comfortable ride, and a more upscale feel than many small crossovers. It is also practical for everyday use, with impressive cargo space for its segment and economical character.

The trade-offs are that the new touchscreen underwhelms and performance could be better, so you should not expect a particularly engaging drive.

With 35.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful value in the market.

Is the 2024 Buick Encore GX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

It is described as economical, comfortable, and easy to live with, with a smooth ride and a decent powertrain. The expert review also points to a simple infotainment layout and a practical, everyday-friendly character.

The powertrain is responsive enough for daily use, though it is not quick, and highway passing can take time. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that its modest performance and tech frustrations may matter more as the vehicle ages.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Buick Encore GX?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Preferred, Sport Touring, and Avenir trims give you different levels of style and premium feel, with the Avenir adding its own unique grille and chrome trim. The top two trims also get new LED tail lights, while the Sport Touring can add black roof, black mirrors, and black roof rails.
• Powertrain: In Canada, you get a 1.3-litre turbocharged three-cylinder engine with 155 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. It is available with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, and the ride is smooth even if outright performance is only adequate.
• Safety package: Buick’s Driver Confidence package is standard and includes lane-keeping assist, lane-departure warning, automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert, a following distance indicator, automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. Rear park assist, adaptive cruise control, and a 360-degree camera are extra.
• Infotainment: You get an 11-inch touchscreen paired with an 8-inch digital gauge cluster under one pane of glass. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included, and USB-A and USB-C ports, a wireless charging pad, and a 120-volt outlet are available.

• Avenir: Choose this if you want the most upscale version, with its unique grille and chrome trim giving the Encore GX its most premium presentation.

Should I buy a 2024 Buick Encore GX or consider a different year?

• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.50% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The refreshed design and new touchscreen give this year a more upscale, modern feel.
