Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Audi Q5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 554 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.01% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $37,992 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $38,848 CAD sits slightly below last year's $49,814 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Q5 more attractive to you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it also means resale expectations should be grounded in current market softness rather than last year’s higher pricing. If demand stays steady, the Q5’s premium positioning and practical appeal should help support values better than a less desirable luxury SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 22.01% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $34,970 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $38,848 CAD average.
• It blends sporty character with comfort.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $56,017 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $38,848 CAD average.
• It brings a redesigned look and updated tech.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around choice if you want the current-year balance of comfort, equipment, and softened pricing. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the smarter value play. If you want the newest design and tech and are willing to pay more, the 2025 is the upgrade path to consider.
