Used 2023 Toyota Tundra for Sale nearMarkham, ON

How much does the 2023 Toyota Tundra cost?

Prices have softened 7.12% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 315 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Toyota Tundra a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Toyota Tundra earns a 4.83/5 user rating and an 8/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Cost effectiveness and Technology.

Owners consistently praise its powerful engine, comfortable interior, smooth ride, stylish appearance, and fuel efficiency. That lines up well with the Tundra’s appeal as a modern full-size pickup for you if you want familiar truck capability with a more contemporary feel.

The main trade-offs are its polarising design and the fact that not all safety features are standard. Even so, the Tundra’s strong value proposition and broad capability make it a compelling choice, and 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2023 Toyota Tundra reliable?

Owners rate it 4.83/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owners describe it as powerful, comfortable, smooth-riding, and fuel-efficient, while also pointing to a reputation for durability and value. The expert notes also emphasise a reliable platform and bullet-proof reliability in the truck’s powertrain lineage.

Toyota’s warranty coverage adds some ownership reassurance, including powertrain coverage and longer protection for hybrid hardware and battery components where equipped.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about basic dependability and more about making sure the truck’s equipment level and history match your needs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Toyota Tundra?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Tundra spans ten trim levels, from SR to Capstone. Lower trims are simpler, while Limited and above add the large 14-inch touchscreen, and TRD Pro brings clearance lamps, a skid plate, and a more aggressive look.
• Powertrain: You get a standard 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6, while the i-FORCE MAX hybrid adds more power and torque. The 10-speed automatic is part of the package, and the updated suspension improves ride composure.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 is standard and includes automatic emergency braking, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning, lane-tracing assist, and sway warning. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are available, but not standard across the lineup.
• Infotainment: Lower trims get an 8-inch touchscreen, while Limited and above use a 14-inch multimedia screen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and the 14-inch system brings fast response and crisp graphics.
• Fuel efficiency: The new twin-turbo V6 was designed to improve efficiency over the old V8, and the truck’s updated hardware is part of that effort.

Which 2023 Toyota Tundra trim should I buy?

The 2023 Toyota Tundra is offered in 10 trim levels: SR, SR5, TRD Sport, TRD Off-road, Limited, Limited TRD Off-road, Platinum, 1794 Edition, TRD Pro, and Capstone.

Here's the short version:

• SR: This is the entry point if you want the lowest starting price and the core Tundra experience. It still gives you strong output and the standard safety and tech basics, so it makes sense if value matters most.
• SR5: This is the sensible step up if you want a little more equipment without chasing luxury pricing. It should suit you if you want a straightforward daily-use truck with broad appeal.
• TRD Sport: Choose this if you want a more style-focused middle ground with a sportier presentation than the base trims.
• TRD Off-road: This is the better pick if you want a more trail-ready setup without jumping all the way to TRD Pro.
• Limited: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it unlocks the 14-inch touchscreen and the available hybrid powertrain, while keeping the truck well equipped.
• Limited TRD Off-road: Pick this if you want the Limited’s equipment with a stronger off-road flavour.
• Platinum: This suits you if you want a more upscale truck with premium features and the available hybrid powertrain.
• 1794 Edition: Choose this if you want a more distinctive luxury-leaning personality with the available hybrid powertrain.
• TRD Pro: This is the one to buy if off-road capability is your priority. It adds a 28-millimetre lift, Fox shocks, BBS wheels, 33-inch tires, locking rear differential, crawl control, and downhill assist control.
• Capstone: This is the top luxury choice, with the hybrid powertrain standard and the most premium positioning in the lineup.

Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are not standard on every trim, so check carefully if those matter to you.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Toyota Tundra?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 315 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.12% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $50,922 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Toyota Tundra's resale value?

The current average of $51,289 CAD sits slightly below last year's $55,221 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become a bit more favourable for buyers, which can make future resale a little more competitive for sellers. If you buy at the right price now, you may have less downside exposure later than someone who paid closer to the prior-year average.

The Tundra’s strong owner satisfaction helps support demand, especially among shoppers who value comfort, capability, and a modern truck feel. That can help cushion resale values over time if the truck is well maintained and properly equipped.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.83/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Toyota Tundra safe?

The 2023 Toyota Tundra earns a Top Safety Pick+ from IIHS for CrewMax models.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 comes standard and includes automatic emergency braking, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist and lane departure warning, lane-tracing assist, and sway warning. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are available, but they are not standard across the lineup.

The main caveat is that not all safety features are standard, so you should verify the exact trim and option content before you buy.

Should I buy a 2023 Toyota Tundra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.12% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.83/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Toyota keeps the truck largely unchanged for 2023, so you get the newer-generation Tundra formula without a major redesign.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $47,130 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $51,289 CAD average.
• It is an all-new full-size pickup with broad updates and strong durability appeal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $55,500 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $51,289 CAD average.
• It leans harder into Toyota dependability and adds a more distinctive open-air feel.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, satisfaction, and current-generation features, the 2023 is the smart default. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2022 can save you money while still giving you the redesigned Tundra experience.
