How much does the 2023 Porsche 911 cost?

Prices are up 3.41% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 131 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.

Is the 2023 Porsche 911 a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Porsche 911 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.7/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

It stands out as a sports car that blends driving enjoyment, everyday comfort, and premium interior materials, so you get a broader range than many rivals in the class. The trade-offs are familiar: cargo space is limited, advanced safety features are not standard, and it is poor value for the money.

The model’s 32.8% good and great deal share suggests there are still some attractive listings if you shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Porsche 911 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 911’s long-running, incremental evolution points to a mature design philosophy, and the expert review highlights that it remains easier to live with than most sports cars. Its performance focus is balanced by everyday usability, which is a good sign if you want a sports car that can handle regular driving without feeling overly compromised.

The 911’s performance-oriented setup and premium positioning mean used buyers should still pay close attention to maintenance history and option content before committing.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Porsche 911?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The 911 lineup ranges from approachable, comfort-friendly versions to more specialised variants, and the base car does not include every safety aid you may want. If you want the broadest everyday appeal, look for the trims that balance comfort, refinement, and usable performance rather than the most extreme versions.
• Powertrain: The 911 lineup spans rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions, with the Carrera T using the same flat-six engine as the base car but adding a manual transmission, lighter components, and a more engaging setup. Higher-output variants add more power, while the GT3 and GT3 RS are tuned more for racetrack driving.
• Safety package: The standard setup includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist. A surround-view camera system and lane change assist with blind-spot monitoring are available in the optional Premium package, and other notable features include night vision and an integrated dashcam.
• Infotainment: You get a 10.9-inch touchscreen, standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless CarPlay, and USB-connected Android Auto. The interface can be distracting to use because the screen sits low on the dash and the on-screen buttons are small.
• Fuel efficiency: No fuel-consumption figure is stated in the available data.

Which 2023 Porsche 911 trim should I buy?

The 2023 Porsche 911 is offered in 12 trim levels: Carrera, Carrera 4, Carrera T, Carrera S, Carrera GTS, Sport Classic, Turbo, Turbo S, GT3, GT3 RS, Dakar, and Carrera 4 GTS.

Here's the short version:

• Carrera: This is the entry point and the best fit if you want the core 911 experience with strong performance, everyday comfort, and the broadest value proposition in the lineup.
• Carrera 4: This is the best-value trim for most Canadian buyers because it adds all-wheel drive while keeping the 911’s usable, well-rounded character.
• Carrera T: Choose this if you want the most engaging manual-transmission experience and can live with a more focused, less cushy setup.
• Carrera S: This adds more power and many of the Carrera T’s upgrades, making it a strong step up if you want extra pace without jumping to the most specialised models.
• Carrera GTS: This is the sweet spot for buyers who want a more serious performance edge while staying within the more versatile side of the range.
• Sport Classic: Pick this if you want the retro styling and higher-output character, and you value exclusivity as much as performance.
• Turbo: This suits buyers who want very high output and straight-line speed, but it is less about the purest sports-car feel.
• Turbo S: This is for shoppers who want the most powerful turbocharged road-going 911 experience in the lineup.
• GT3: This is the right choice if track-focused driving matters more than comfort.
• GT3 RS: This is the most extreme performance choice here, but it comes with the biggest comfort trade-offs.
• Dakar: This is the most distinctive variant, with lifted off-road suspension and all-terrain features for buyers who want something unusual.
• Carrera 4 GTS: This is the best fit if you want the GTS performance upgrade with all-wheel-drive confidence.

The standard safety setup is limited, so if safety tech matters to you, look for a car equipped with the optional Premium package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Porsche 911?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some patience and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 131 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 3.41% year-over-year.

If you find a listing below $234,312 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Porsche 911's resale value?

The current average of $264,893 CAD sits slightly above last year's $256,165 CAD.

That upward movement suggests the 2023 model year has held buyer interest well, which is a positive sign if you plan to sell later. The current pricing also sits near the top of the year-round range, which can support stronger resale expectations if the car is well kept and properly optioned.

Because demand appears steady and inventory is not especially deep, well-maintained examples should remain relatively easy to move. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Porsche 911 safe?

The Porsche 911 has not been published by NHTSA or IIHS crash test programmes.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard safety equipment includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist. A surround-view camera system and lane change assist with blind-spot monitoring are available in the optional Premium package, while night vision and an integrated dashcam are also listed among the notable features.

The main caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, so you may need to shop carefully if driver assistance matters to you.

Should I buy a 2023 Porsche 911 or consider a different year?

Choose the 2023 if:

• Price trend: Prices are up 3.41% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 adds several new variants, including the Carrera T, GT3 RS, Sport Classic, and Dakar.

• It blends serious performance with everyday usability.

The bottom line: If you want the newest nearby version with broader trim variety and strong market demand, the 2023 is the better target. If your priority is saving money, the 2022 offers a lower entry price while keeping the 911’s core strengths intact.
