Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Nissan Qashqai?

This is a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can be choosy without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Inventory: There are 403 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.91% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $22,817 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Nissan Qashqai's resale value?

The current average of $22,817 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,613 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favourable point in the cycle, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, buying well today matters even more because your eventual return will depend heavily on how much room you leave between purchase price and market value.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Nissan Qashqai or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 29.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.91% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 is a sensible choice if you want a well-liked Qashqai and you can take advantage of the softer pricing. If you're especially price-sensitive, keep an eye on nearby model years and compare the asking prices carefully, but the 2023 already looks like a reasonable place to start.
