The user feedback also points to a reliable, dependable ownership experience, with drivers highlighting its trouble-free value, fuel efficiency, and the confidence that comes from a long-term, practical commuter. This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 26.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 895 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.54% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,797 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Nissan Kicks's resale value?

The current average of $21,041 CAD sits slightly below last year's $23,785 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the Kicks easier to buy now but may also mean future sellers face a softer resale environment than they would have a year ago. Even so, the model's value-focused reputation and efficient, practical nature should help it stay relevant with budget-minded shoppers. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.71/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Nissan Kicks or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 26.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.54% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 Nissan Kicks makes the most sense if you want a value-focused subcompact SUV with strong owner approval and a market that still offers some deal potential. If you are price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby model years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2023's current market position.
