Is the 2023 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross a good car?

That score points to solid owner satisfaction, especially if you value a model that has generally pleased people who live with it day to day. With 26.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

For used buyers, that kind of feedback can reduce the risk of unpleasant ownership surprises, though you should still verify maintenance history and condition carefully.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently without assuming every listing is a bargain.

• Deal availability: 26.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 210 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.13% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $24,036 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross's resale value?

The current average of $24,285 CAD sits slightly below last year's $27,023 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favourable point in the cycle, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, the current trend suggests you should focus on condition, mileage, and service records to protect value. A well-kept example should still appeal to shoppers looking for a compact SUV with proven owner satisfaction.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 26.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.13% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $21,105 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $24,285 CAD average.
• It offers a lower-cost entry point.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2023 if you want the stronger current-market balance of owner satisfaction and pricing momentum. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2022 is the better value-focused path, especially if you find one in good condition.
