Should I buy a 2023 Mercedes-Benz C-Class or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.02% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $42,849 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $48,404 CAD average.
• It offers an upmarket redesign with stylish design and great ride quality.

The bottom line: Choose the 2023 if you want the stronger overall package and are comfortable paying more for the newer market position and current pricing context. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2022 is the better value path, especially if you find one in good condition with the equipment you want.
