Used 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport for Sale nearToronto, ON

How much does the 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport cost?

Prices have softened 16.85% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 106 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport a good car?

Yes — you’re looking at a model with a 5/5 user rating and a 6.83/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Look and feel at 9/10.

The 2023 Range Rover Sport leans into stylish design and a strong luxury presence, and it is meant to feel sportier than a standard Range Rover. It also brings a powerful engine and excellent off-road capability, which makes it appealing if you want a luxury SUV that can do more than just commute.

The trade-offs are clear: handling is underwhelming for the name, the back seat is cramped, and the technology can be frustrating to live with. That means it suits you best if you value image, capability, and presence more than sharp on-road dynamics or rear-seat space.

37.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still some worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Range Rover Sport is presented as a luxury SUV with serious off-road credibility and a powerful engine, but it also carries the usual used-luxury caution flags around complexity and ownership costs. Its performance hardware is substantial, and the model’s off-road ability is a core part of its identity.

The powertrain is described as strong and capable, with the SUV delivering plenty of oomph and feeling credible in acceleration. Land Rover also says the vehicle can be more fuel efficient than you might expect, which is a useful sign if you’re comparing it with other large luxury SUVs.

If you buy used, the main long-term risk is that its technology and premium hardware may be more demanding to live with than a simpler SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The model is offered in Dynamic SE, Dynamic HSE, Autobiography, and SV Edition One specification. The Dynamic SE is the entry point, while the Autobiography adds the plug-in hybrid drivetrain and the SV Edition One is the sold-out launch model.
• Powertrain: The turbocharged 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder engine makes 395 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque, while the plug-in hybrid setup in Autobiography delivers 434 hp and 406 lb-ft. The SV Edition One’s 523-hp twin-turbo 4.4-litre V8 was also mentioned, but it is reported to be off the menu for now.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, automatic high-beam headlights, a driver monitoring system, front and rear parking sensors, a surround-view camera system, ClearSight Ground View, Wade Sensing, Terrain Response, All Terrain Progress Control, hill start assist, and hill descent control. Remote Park Assist is available.
• Infotainment: Every model gets a 13.7-inch digital instrumentation display and a 13.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, along with Amazon Alexa compatibility, SiriusXM satellite radio, and an Online Pack with connected services.
• Fuel efficiency: We averaged 10.5 L/100 km on our evaluation route, and the SUV returned 9.4 L/100 km on a suburban highway drive.

Which 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport trim should I buy?

The 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport is offered in 4 trim levels: Dynamic SE, Dynamic HSE, Autobiography, and SV Edition One.

Here's the short version:

• Dynamic SE: This is the trim to start with if you want the core Range Rover Sport experience: the stylish design, the strong 3.0-litre inline-six, the standard air suspension, and the full suite of driver-assistance and infotainment features. It is the best-value choice for most buyers because it gives you the essential character of the SUV without pushing into the highest price territory.
• Dynamic HSE: Choose this if you want a step up in equipment and refinement while staying with the same basic powertrain and luxury mission. It suits you if you want more of the Range Rover Sport experience without jumping all the way to the plug-in hybrid.
• Autobiography: This is the trim to buy if you want the plug-in hybrid drivetrain and are willing to pay for it. It is the most compelling choice for buyers who plan to keep the vehicle charged and want the added efficiency and extra power.
• SV Edition One: This is the halo trim, and it is for you only if you want the most exclusive, most performance-focused version mentioned here. It was a launch-year-only model and is already sold out.

The safety package is extensive across the range, but the available Remote Park Assist adds another convenience layer if you want the SUV to park itself while you stand outside it.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find opportunities.

• Deal availability: 37.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 106 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.85% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $78,846 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport's resale value?

The current average of $78,846 CAD sits slightly below last year's $94,826 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the SUV more attractive to used buyers today but less favourable for sellers trying to recover earlier values. If you own one and plan to sell later, the current softness means you may need to price competitively to move it quickly.

The good news is that strong demand can still support resale if the vehicle is presented well and priced in line with the market. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport safe?

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Land Rover installs numerous safety features and advanced driving assistance systems in the Range Rover Sport. The list includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, automatic high-beam headlights, a driver monitoring system, front and rear parking sensors, and a surround-view camera system with ClearSight Ground View.

Wade Sensing is standard, too, and it can help you with water crossings while driving off-road. Remote Park Assist is also available.

The adaptive cruise control with steering assist is a weak point, though. It can respond slowly when traffic clears and the steering assist can feel untrustworthy, especially on curving highways or when lane markings are poor.

Should I buy a 2023 Land Rover Range Rover Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 37.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.85% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 stands out for its stylish design, strong off-road ability, and powerful engine.

The bottom line: If you want the Range Rover Sport’s style, capability, and luxury presence at a softer used-market price, the 2023 is the one to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, keep shopping within this year’s listings and focus on the lower end of the range, where the best value is more likely to show up.
