Used 2023 Jeep Wrangler for Sale nearWindsor, ON

How much does the 2023 Jeep Wrangler cost?

Prices have softened 12.90% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 773 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.

Is the 2023 Jeep Wrangler a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 5/5, and the expert rating is 7.83/10. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

Owners consistently praise its off-road capability, fun driving experience, and customisable features. The Wrangler’s appeal also comes through in its iconic design and open-air character, which fit buyers who want something more distinctive than a typical SUV.

The trade-offs are clear: limited storage space and unimpressive on-road performance. That makes it best suited to you if trail use and personality matter more than everyday refinement.

With 32.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market offers some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Jeep Wrangler reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a vehicle that feels reliable, dependable, and fun to live with, especially for buyers who value its rugged character over comfort. The ownership experience also comes across as one people can count on for off-road use and distinctive design.

The expert assessment reinforces that sense of durability by highlighting the Wrangler’s solid front and rear axles and five-link suspension system, hardware that supports its trail-focused reputation. The review also notes a maintenance perk for some buyers: the first scheduled maintenance visit is on the house.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about basic toughness and more about whether the specific example was maintained well and equipped the way you need it.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Jeep Wrangler?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Some popular trims, including the Wrangler Sport, Wrangler Willys Sport, and Wrangler Sahara, do not get locking differentials or meaty tyres, so you should check whether the truck you’re considering has the off-road hardware you expect.
• Powertrain: You can choose from a Pentastar V6, a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder, a 3.0-litre Ecodiesel V6, a 6.4-litre V8, or a plug-in hybrid setup with two electric motors and a 17.3-kWh battery pack. The diesel and plug-in hybrid are the efficiency-minded options, while the V8 is the most extreme.
• Safety package: The standard equipment is limited to a rearview camera, electronic roll mitigation, and stability control. Blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control are standard only on the top Sahara High Altitude and 392 models; elsewhere, they are part of an option package. Lane-keeping assist is not offered.
• Infotainment: A 7-inch touchscreen is standard, while an 8.4-inch touchscreen is available. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and over-the-air updates for the Uconnect system are included, but there is no digital key.
• Fuel efficiency: Expect anywhere from the high 10s to the low 12s in litres per 100 kilometres combined, depending on body style and engine choice. The 3.0-litre diesel can achieve 9.5 L/100 km combined, while the plug-in Wrangler 4xe comes in at 4.8 litres-equivalent per 100 kilometres combined.

Which 2023 Jeep Wrangler trim should I buy?

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler is offered in 1 trim level: Wrangler Rubicon 392.

Here's the short version:

The Wrangler Rubicon 392 is the standout if you want the most extreme Wrangler experience, with a 6.4-litre V8, serious straight-line pace, and the kind of off-road hardware that suits buyers who want maximum capability and character. It is also the most expensive path, so it makes sense mainly if you want the full-performance, full-attitude version rather than a value play.

The safety package is limited on lower trims, while the top Sahara High Altitude and 392 models get the most standard driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Jeep Wrangler?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 773 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.90% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $39,190 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Jeep Wrangler's resale value?

The current average of $39,190 CAD sits slightly below last year's $44,992 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Wrangler is currently more accessible to used buyers than it was a year ago. For a future seller, that means you may not see the same pricing strength unless your vehicle is especially well equipped or in unusually good condition.

The Wrangler’s strong enthusiast appeal should still help support demand, especially for examples with desirable off-road equipment. But the market is clearly more selective now, so condition, trim, and equipment will matter a lot when you go to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Jeep Wrangler safe?

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler earns Good and Marginal ratings from IIHS, and it earns four-star ratings for frontal crash and three-star ratings for rollover from NHTSA.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

The Wrangler’s standard safety equipment is limited to a rearview camera, electronic roll mitigation, and stability control. Blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control are standard only on the top Sahara High Altitude and 392 models; elsewhere, they are part of an option package. Lane-keeping assist is not offered.

A key caveat is that some headlights receive a Poor IIHS ranking, and the overall safety picture is mixed rather than class-leading.

Should I buy a 2023 Jeep Wrangler or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.90% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It delivers the Wrangler’s classic off-road focus with solid axles, multiple powertrain choices, and strong enthusiast appeal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $36,230 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $39,190 CAD average.
• It offers retro styling, open-air hardware, and strong off-road character.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $45,765 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $39,190 CAD average.
• It adds a mid-cycle refresh with more emphasis on technology, safety, and refinement.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of current pricing and strong owner satisfaction, the 2023 is the sensible pick. If your priority is saving money, the 2022 is the better value path. If you want the newer update and can stretch your budget, the 2024 is the more modern choice.
