Used 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E for Sale nearAjax, ON

How much does the 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E cost?

Prices have softened 4.85% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 197 listings available, which suggests you have a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 5/5, and the expert rating is 8.5/10. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its impressive performance, stylish design, and advanced technology, and they also value the quiet, smooth ride and available all-wheel-drive capability. In use, that lines up well with the Mach-E’s role as a polished electric crossover that blends style, performance, technology, and utility.

The trade-offs are that the electric range is unimpressive and the ride quality can be choppy. It also needs a head-up display, which matters because some driving-assist information is shown only in the instrument display.

With 32.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable and trouble-free in day-to-day use, with many shoppers likely to count on its performance and smooth operation over time. The expert review also notes that the smartphone-based key system works well once you get used to it, which supports the impression of a well-sorted ownership experience.

Ford’s standard maintenance coverage can help reduce early ownership friction when applicable, which is a useful perk for a used-EV buyer.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about basic dependability and more about whether the battery, charging habits, and software features have been cared for properly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Select is the key entry point, while Premium adds more equipment and the GT brings a more distinctive look with revised bumpers, unique 20-inch wheels, and a dark front panel. The base trim also misses some equipment that appears on higher grades, so compare feature content carefully before you buy.
• Powertrain: You can find single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive setups, with standard-range and extended-range battery packs. Output varies widely, so make sure the configuration matches the driving feel and range you want.
• Safety package: Co-Pilot360 Assist 2.0 is standard and includes adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, automatic emergency braking, and other features. BlueCruise is also part of the package, but availability can vary by trim, so confirm what is actually fitted on the vehicle you are considering.
• Infotainment: The Mach-E uses a 15.5-inch portrait touchscreen with Sync 4A, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, over-the-air updates, and wireless smartphone charging. It also includes a 10.2-inch digital instrument display.
• Range & charging: The Premium trim level offers up to 500 kilometres of driving range, and the California Route 1 comes with all-wheel drive and 502 kilometres of estimated range. The usable battery capacity and DC fast-charge time are not specified here, so verify those details on the exact vehicle you are shopping.
• Battery health: For any used EV, check battery state-of-health, review charging habits, and confirm whether the car has mostly been charged at home or relied heavily on DC fast charging. Also ask how much of the battery warranty remains so you understand your long-term risk.

Which 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E trim should I buy?

The 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E is offered in 4 trim levels: Select, Premium, California Route 1, GT.

Here's the short version:

• Select: This is the starting point, so it makes sense if you want the lowest entry price and are comfortable with fewer extras. It still gets the core Mach-E experience, but you should compare its equipment closely against Premium because the gap can be meaningful.
• Premium: This is the best-value choice for most shoppers because it adds more of the features that make the Mach-E feel polished and complete. It also benefits from the broader equipment mix described in the review, making it the trim to target if you want the strongest balance of comfort, technology, and everyday usability.
• California Route 1: Choose this if range and all-wheel drive are priorities. It is the long-range, AWD-focused option in the lineup, so it suits you if you want maximum distance between charges without moving all the way to GT territory.
• GT: Pick this if you want the most performance-focused Mach-E. It brings the most aggressive styling and the strongest output, but it is the least value-oriented choice if your priority is simply daily commuting.

BlueCruise and the surround-view camera can vary by trim, so confirm safety-package content before you buy.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on the right car.

• Deal availability: 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 197 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.85% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $33,917 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E's resale value?

The current average of $35,180 CAD sits slightly below last year's $36,974 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become a bit more favourable for buyers, which can make it harder for a future seller to command top dollar immediately. At the same time, the current range still shows healthy demand for well-kept examples, especially if the vehicle has desirable equipment and a strong condition history.

If prices continue to stabilise, sellers who bought at a higher point may need to be more flexible on asking price. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E safe?

The 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E earns top marks from the IIHS and is a Top Safety Pick for the 2022 and 2023 calendar years.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist 2.0 is standard across the lineup and includes adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, automatic emergency braking, and other features. BlueCruise 1.2 is also part of the safety story, adding lane-change capability, predictive speed assist, and lane repositioning to help with highway driving.

One caveat is that BlueCruise information is handled through the instrument display, and the review notes that a head-up display would make the system easier to use. Availability of the surround-view camera and BlueCruise can also vary by trim, so confirm the exact equipment on the vehicle you are considering.

Should I buy a 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.85% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Ford’s enhanced BlueCruise 1.2 and the year’s added equipment make it a well-rounded EV.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $40,320 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $35,180 CAD average.
• Ford adds a new Rally trim and broader upgrades.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2023 is the smarter buy. If you are willing to pay more for the newer model year and its added upgrades, the 2024 is the path to consider.
