Used 2023 Ford Expedition for Sale near Ontario

How much does the 2023 Ford Expedition cost?

Prices have softened 12.98% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 187 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Ford Expedition a good car?

Yes — owners give it 5/5, which is a strong sign that it delivers on what shoppers want from a large SUV.

The owner feedback points to a few recurring strengths: family-friendly features, comfortable ride quality, and generous space for car seats. That lines up well with the Expedition’s role as a full-size SUV built around family use, three rows of seating, and plenty of passenger room. It also fits shoppers who want a vehicle with useful technology and serious utility.

With 31.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer if you shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Ford Expedition reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner summary also points to a vehicle that feels dependable in day-to-day family use, with praise for its comfortable ride and practical space. That kind of feedback matters if you want a large SUV you can count on for regular hauling, commuting, and road trips.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about basic satisfaction and more about whether a large, heavily equipped SUV has been maintained properly over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Ford Expedition?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to be choosy without waiting forever.

• Deal availability: 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 187 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.98% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $59,781 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Ford Expedition's resale value?

The current average of $59,784 CAD sits slightly below last year's $68,705 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price, you reduce the risk of taking an immediate depreciation hit. For a future seller, the key will be how well the vehicle holds demand in a segment where buyers compare space, comfort, and towing ability closely.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Ford Expedition or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.98% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $54,048 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $59,784 CAD average.
• It offers strong space and family-focused practicality.

The bottom line: Choose the 2023 if you want the newer pricing context and strong owner satisfaction in a current-market package. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2022 is the better secondary path, especially if you find one with the features and condition you want.
