This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Inventory: There are 191 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.35% compared with last year.

What is the 2023 Ford Expedition's resale value?

The current average of $60,049 CAD sits slightly below last year's $69,299 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favourable point today. For a future seller, it also means resale expectations should be set with the current softer pricing environment in mind. Even so, the Expedition’s broad appeal as a family-focused full-size SUV should help it remain relevant to shoppers who need space and comfort.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Ford Expedition or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.35% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $54,536 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $60,049 CAD average.
• It offers a strong mix of space, technology, and standout presence.

The bottom line: Choose the 2023 if you want the newer pricing context and a strong owner satisfaction signal, especially if you can find one near the low end of the range. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2022 is the better value path and still delivers the Expedition’s core strengths.
