With 33.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful share of the market to shop from.

For used buyers, that points to lower perceived ownership risk, especially if you focus on well-maintained examples with clean histories and consistent service records.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Ford Edge?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 546 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.60% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $26,089 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Ford Edge's resale value?

The current average of $26,089 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,662 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a mixed signal for future resale: it may help you buy at a more attractive entry point now, but it also means the market has already adjusted downward. If prices stabilise from here, a well-kept example could hold value better than a neglected one. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Ford Edge or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.60% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current value and owner approval, the 2023 is the primary year to focus on. If your priority is stretching your budget further, you can also compare nearby years and target the lowest-priced listings, especially if you are willing to trade some selection for a better upfront deal.
