Used 2023 Dodge Challenger for Sale nearMontreal, QC

How much does the 2023 Dodge Challenger cost?

Prices have softened 21.50% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 132 listings available, which suggests you have some room to compare examples before you buy.

Is the 2023 Dodge Challenger a good car?

Yes — it earns a 4.81/5 user rating and a 7.17/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise the powerful performance, fun driving experience, and modern tech features. They also highlight the ample legroom and trunk space, and many see strong value in the muscle-car segment.

The trade-offs are clear: the Challenger is a time capsule that prioritises horsepower and style over fuel economy, and the technology is dated compared with newer rivals. It suits you best if you want a dramatic, traditional performance car experience rather than a modern efficiency-first coupe.

Only 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market still rewards shoppers who move quickly on well-priced examples.

Is the 2023 Dodge Challenger reliable?

Owners rate it 4.81/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels powerful, enjoyable, and well-liked over time, with strong value and a driving experience that keeps people engaged. The expert assessment also reinforces that this is a durable-feeling, old-school performance car that has held up remarkably well for its age.

That said, used-buyer risk is tied more to condition and prior use than to the concept itself, so you should pay close attention to how hard the car has been driven and maintained.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Dodge Challenger?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Black Ghost is based on the SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody and adds exclusive retro detailing, premium Laguna semi-aniline leather upholstery, simulated suede, and genuine carbon fibre trim. It is the most distinctive choice if you want the rarest, most collectible farewell-year version.
• Powertrain: The Black Ghost uses a supercharged 6.2-litre V8 with 807 hp and 707 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It is built for straight-line performance rather than efficiency.
• Safety package: The Black Ghost includes a low-resolution reversing camera, rear parking sensors, automatic high-beam headlights, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. Forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control are unavailable.
• Infotainment: The Black Ghost gets an 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen, wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth streaming audio, a navigation system, and a Harman Kardon premium sound system. The interface is intuitive, but the voice-recognition system is ageing.
• Fuel efficiency: Fuel consumption is up to 15.4 L/100 km in combined driving, and the test loop returned 15 L/100 km.

Which 2023 Dodge Challenger trim should I buy?

The 2023 Dodge Challenger is offered in 1 trim level: Black Ghost.

Here's the short version:

Black Ghost: This is the rarest and most collectible farewell-year Challenger, with only 300 units built. It adds the most dramatic styling, the strongest sense of occasion, and the highest-output version of the car’s supercharged V8 formula. If you want the ultimate expression of the 2023 Challenger and value exclusivity over practicality, this is the one to target.

Safety-package note: advanced driver-assistance features are limited, and forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control are not available.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Dodge Challenger?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you should focus on condition, equipment, and price rather than rushing into the first example you see.

• Deal availability: 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 132 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.50% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $56,514 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Dodge Challenger's resale value?

The current average of $56,514 CAD sits slightly below last year's $71,994 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price carefully to stay competitive. If you own one, the strongest resale prospects will likely come from well-kept examples with desirable equipment and strong presentation.

Because this is a final-year model with strong enthusiast appeal, scarcity can help support demand over time. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.81/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Dodge Challenger safe?

The 2023 Dodge Challenger earns favourable IIHS ratings only in two outdated frontal- and side-impact tests.

It earns a 3/10 safety score from our experts.

The safety equipment on the Black Ghost is limited to traction and stability control, a low-resolution reversing camera, rear parking sensors, automatic high-beam headlights, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. Forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control are unavailable, so you do not get the kind of standard safety net many newer cars provide.

That limited feature set is the main caveat for used buyers: you are buying a high-performance coupe with relatively little active-safety support.

Should I buy a 2023 Dodge Challenger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.50% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.81/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It is the final-year Challenger, with special-edition “Last Call” models and the rare Black Ghost standing out as a memorable send-off.

The bottom line: If you want the most distinctive and collectible version of the Challenger, the 2023 model year is the one to focus on. If you are more price-sensitive, you can still shop carefully within this year and look for the best-maintained example at the lowest end of the range.
