Is the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe a good car?

Generally — the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe earns a 4/5 user rating, which points to strong overall satisfaction. Drivers repeatedly praise its spaciousness, smooth ride, and powerful performance, and those strengths line up well with its role as a full-size SUV for families who need room for people and gear. It also fits buyers who want a large SUV with broad equipment and towing capability, though some owners note that it can feel pricey and would benefit from more luxury features. With 29.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, especially those who value its spacious cabin and smooth ride over flashier luxury touches. That said, used buyers should still pay close attention to maintenance history and overall condition, since long-term ownership risk is always higher on a large, heavily used SUV.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 29.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 137 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.80% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $69,410 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe's resale value?

The current average of $70,823 CAD sits slightly below last year's $73,620 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Tahoe has become a bit more accessible for used buyers, which can help keep demand steady in the near term. For a future seller, that means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and equipment than on broad market momentum alone. Well-kept examples should still appeal to shoppers who want a full-size SUV with strong utility and family-friendly space.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 29.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.80% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 Tahoe is the right pick if you want a full-size SUV with strong owner approval, a softer used-market price than last year, and enough inventory to compare options. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby model year may be worth a look, but the 2023 remains a sensible target for shoppers who want a well-liked, family-focused Tahoe.
