Is the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe a good car?

Generally — the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe earns a 4/5 user rating, which points to solid owner satisfaction. Is the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable in day-to-day use, with drivers highlighting its trouble-free family usefulness, smooth ride, and strong performance. That kind of feedback matters if you want a large SUV you can count on for regular hauling, commuting, and road trips. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the basic formula and more about making sure the specific example you choose has been maintained properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 28.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 128 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.86% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $69,415 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe's resale value?

The current average of $70,510 CAD sits slightly below last year's $74,110 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Tahoe has softened enough to give used buyers more negotiating room, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. Because the model still attracts family buyers who want space, towing ability, and a strong feature list, demand should remain fairly steady if the vehicle is well equipped and well kept. If you buy at the right price now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 28.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.86% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 Tahoe makes the most sense if you want a full-size SUV with strong family appeal, useful space, and a market that currently gives you some negotiating room. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby model year with a lower asking price may be worth a look, but the 2023 is the better primary target if you want the strongest balance of satisfaction, capability, and current pricing.
