If you plan to resell later, the current trend suggests you should pay close attention to purchase price and condition, since both will matter when it comes time to list. Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe or consider a different year?

• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.35% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 Tahoe makes the most sense if you want a full-size SUV with strong family appeal, a smooth ride, and enough market softness to negotiate.
